Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel

The location is a quick drive to Maryland. The lobby area have a luxurious look and feel. The check-in and check-out staff was friendly and welcoming. I was not charged the fee to park in the parking garage, which I believed it was because I was only staying for one night, which I’m grateful. The room was nice, clean, and comfy. I love the greeting on the television screen of my name. I wasn’t too pleased with the breakfast, but other than that this hotel will be my choice whenever I am traveling to Maryland!!

Beautiful Inside and out. The staff were perfect examples of perfection. The bar in lobby was great as well. The bartender Antonio was very friendly and helpful. Most definitely would stay again when I visit back.

Didn't like the 44 bucks for parking each night but hey whatever. Valet was just the same price but on the first level when entering the structure. So you might as well just get the vehicle into valet.

The booking.com app was not accurate in the description of the room bed. It said "king bed, double bed" which made me think it had both but it meant it has either of as I learn when i arrived to the hotel. The details of the room has this info but you should modifine the headlines so they are not deceiving

The decor of the property is modern and very nice. My room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was large with plenty of hot water, and I was grateful for the makeup mirror. I also enjoyed the Aveda soap and lotion, Rosemary Mint! The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance.

The parking was expensive, and the garage was underground. I had to drive to the 3rd level to find a parking spot. There is a restaurant onsite, Socci. They have a very limited menu. The bartender was also the waiter, and I sat there for quite some time, lost patience, and left before placing my order. So glad I did, as there were much better choices within walking instance.

My sister friend and I stayed over the 2021 Labor Day weekend and our entire experience with Renaissance Alexandria was EXCELLENT - from check-in to check-out! My sister friend traveled here from out of state while on vacation and celebrating her birthday. She had the BEST time! I live in the DMV area and when I need some retreat time away from the norm, I will definitely request a stay at this Hotel! What's critical for me when choosing a Hotel is the cleanliness of the ENTIRE resort; most definitely the rooms! My hotel stay must be equivalent to my home environment, as was the case! My sister friend and I did not have an opportunity to order room service nor visit the hotel restaurants, but the parking was commendable (i.e., very good lighting and ample parking spaces, just to name a few). Please continue to keep-up the quality of this Hotel and KUDOS to management and the entire staff at the Renaissance in Crystal City!! Thanx kindly, Ms. Hicks

I enjoyed the breakfast but the only downfall is that they had no sense of organization there. The waiting staff did not tend to the guests as they should have.

The breakfast staff was very unorganized. Also, it took a long time for me to get my change back.

Very friendly staff, very clean, modern rooms, well-lit. You might actually be able to see the Capitol building from the right angle.

The location is somewhat inconvenient if you don’t travel by car. The public transport ride to the airport is short, but you have to take a bus and then switch to the metro.
