Hyatt House Provo/Pleasant Grove

Everything was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfy, the sofa was soft, not rock hard like many hotel couches. The bathroom was clean and modern with thoughtful touches, such as a small shelf to rest your foot on while shaving legs, and the water control was on the opposite end from the shower head, so you didn’t have to get blasted with cold water. the breakfast was amazing, so many quality items, and the breakfast workers were meticulous in preparing and presenting the food. The only thing I was disappointed in was insufficient sound proofing between the rooms. There was a dog and a baby in the room next to us, and we could hear them very clearly. gratefully it wasn’t a big problem and they both seemed to sleep through the night. Ear plugs took care of the rest of the noise and I slept well.

The breakfast choices / variety were spot on! The pool was nice and cooling. Most parents should have more control over their kids ... jumping into this smaller size pool can be dangerous, as well as disturbing to some guests. The staff were always polite and helpful.

Fearful some of the kids doing flips from the jacuzzi into the pool would end up injured. If someone were to miss their mark, slip or fall back and hit their head ... blood in the pool (and then it's closed for everyone until cleaned out??) 🥺

The breakfast was great! They had different meals each day! Pancakes and bacon and of course scrambled eggs. The next day Waffles or French toast and sausage. They also had hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, whole fruit and an assortment of juices plus muffins and bagels and oatmeal with its fixings. I actually looked forward to the breakfasts. The staff was great as well!

After we booked and arrived I found out they had larger rooms, suites and even kitchens. I wish I had checked out the rooms more carefully before booking. I would have booked a room with the kitchenette.

it was really close to the venue I was in town for. it was also super convenient being able to walk to several places for meals and such.

nothing. I felt the property was well managed and maintained. I was a little taken back by the sudden construction in a section of the parking lot, but it was not an inconvenience at all.

Staff was friendly, one of the breakfast crew found out I was looking for gluten free cereal, and she found me gluten free bread for toast (it was very sweet and I appreciated it at the time.... But now I wonder why it's not just out with the other bread?). Dog friendly!

I don't know how much you can expect from a large hotel in this regard, but we could hear (and so could our 2 dogs) every single kid running loudly down the hallway. That's my only negative, and I don't even know how it's possible to keep that from happening.

The hotel feels brand new and is therefore clean. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was good.

It’s not the hotels fault, but they are doing road and building construction right next to it so it’s occasionally noisy and dusty.

Convenient, Kitchen in Suite was amazing

We were there 4 days and housekeeping never entered room to clean, make bed or exchange towels (we asked that they do this every 2 days)

The Hyatt house has a friendly staff and the facilities were very nice. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The bathroom was also very nice with it being updated and clean.

The only negative was that the air conditioning unit was very noisy each time it came on.

I loved everything about my stay, the view the location, the great breakfast they offered! Will definitely stay here again for sure the staff was incredibly nice and very helpful!!

I understand that with covid there being xtra cautions but it would have been nice to have the room serviced more than just when we left instead of constantly going down and asking for things like fresh towels, toilet paper ,etc. Especially since I stayed well over a week.

Amazing hotel, way more Amenities in the room then expected, super clean staff was beyond helpful breakfast was great. Will definitely stay again if/when I’m in town. This stay will likely Lear to staying at more of this hotels in other places in the future.
