La Quinta by Wyndham Conroe

The hotel was nicely painted inside,decorated,hallway carpet was clean, everywhere smelled clean,furnishing in good shape. The breakfast area was nice, breakfast food hot/cold was great. The disabled room had a great safe bathroom,lots of space,handles and seat etc. Got an adjoining room for our teenage grandson. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Front desk very helpful,supplied map of area. Excellent value for price. Pet friendly. Would stay there again.

Think they need to put in outside steps so those of us that exit the left side of hotel with our pet, can maneuver the steep decline/hill to take pet to Designated Area around back. We are in our mid-70s and had to get our grandson to do it for us.

Location

The staff didn't like dogs, and they were concerned that our dog would be left in our room and do some damage. She is a service dog and very well behaved. She is my husband's ears. She is a teacup Yorkie of about 4 pounds are so. She doesn't shed. We brush her daily and bath 1-2 x a week. The lady also made copies of our dog's certificate, which no one has never done before. With all the ID theft, I was very worried why she took copies. What they are doing there, I don't think it is legal to ask so many questions about my husband's service dog. My husband is deaf and I told her his dog alert him if an alarm, going off or someone is behind him. That all they are allowed to ask . We were rear-ended on Monday, so we had a car rental and I was not feeling like a third degree.

The staff was very friendly, smiling, informative, and were courteous. The rooms were quiet and I was on the animal end of the floor. You only paid $25 a night for having a pet. I appreciated the fact that I could bring my bird.Rooms are cheaper if you use Booking .com.

I wanted biscuits and gravy and they didn’t have any the two days I was there. There was congestion by large trucks at the entryway, exit with only one location to enter and exit.

Location was great, staff was so friendly and helpful, love the back for your pets! This is the first time I have been to a La Quinta and it was more than what I expected. I would definitely stay again. Mexican restaurant right in front was also really good. McDonald’s, Waffle House, Taco Bell and Wendy’s all within walking distance.

The beds in our room were comfy but they both had a pretty bad squeaky noise every time you got in or out of the bed. Could really hear people in the next room as well. We could hear their dog shake it’s head and hear the collar making noise from that. People only stayed two nights I think so it wasn’t bad. Plus we had dogs too so I’m sure they could hear ours too.

First of all, the staff was great. Friendly and helpful. I forgot her name but she was really helpful and approachable when we check in , it was the same with the staff that checked us out. Next, the pool and hot tub was great. We love indoor pool but a hot tub was a great bonus for a relaxing early night. The pet area too was helpful for our dog. Breakfast was hot and nice. We’ll definitely stay again when we visit Conroe.

Nothing to complain.

The entire facility was clean and inviting. Parking lot was well lit and provided security. The room was bigger than we anticipated but very much appreciated. The entire staff was courteous and knowledgeable. We have been burned by previous travel arrangements so this was a welcome change. The location was convenient but not too close to the freeway. The room darkening curtains were a nice touch since we were on the ground floor.

The door to the stairway needed adjustment so that it would shut without disturbing other guests.

Breakfast is great! they have more options to choose from. Tyler the receptionist is very accommodating and friendly. I like the white light of the room. (coz our family is not a fan of yellow/warm lights) :D

room is not well clean; we saw 2 pairs of ear plugs under the bed. otherwise, everything is excellent!

I was there for a school trip to learn, and my days were full. I didn't have time for leisure, but the comfort was excellent it went beyond my expectations.

The walking at the end of a long day. But I made it. That was just part of it, and no daily belongs to anyone.

Rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable and like there is a ceiling fan in the room. Breakfast was your basic hotel breakfast and everything tasted good. Staff is very nice!

My only wish is the drapes would cover sides of window to block out the parking lot lights, but this is a minor personal issue of mine. Everything went very well during our stay.

Convenient to I 45, friendly staff, clean rooms. There were plenty of towels, bed was comfortable. I would stay there again. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from. The coffee was better than most hotels. Just for some extra info, the Mexican restaurant next door is excellent, bring a big appetite.

The only thing I noticed, but didn’t really pertain to me, was the sign that said large dogs required $200 deposit. I did not have a dog with me, but I have traveled with them in the past. $200, OUCH!
