The appartement is minimalistic decorated with lots of respect for the concrete architecture but still in such a way that it feels cosy and homely. When I arrived the apartment was very clean. I had some questions before arriving and the helpdesk was very willing and knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The gym on the 2nd floor on the opposite corner of the building is wel equipped and even has an outdoors area where you can work out. Everything is in a walking distance (when you're from Europe) like Austin South Side and Lady Bird Lake.

This is only for people who are not from a city themselves. If you are not from a city you might find the apartment a little noisy. It's very close to nice bars that have rooftops with live music etc. Most music stops around midnight however.

loved the ease with checking in (especially letting us in early so we could drop off our bags) and the amount of space in the unit

only 2 things: first, I realize there was a marathon happening the day after we arrived but the noise level overnight was really loud. might want to invest in some soundproof windows. we were in the 5th floor and the noise was a little overwhelming, kept waking us up. second, think about a space for dropping off/leaving luggage for early arrival or late checkout. the staff was very accommodating to us to get in early but we had to walk around Austin with our luggage for a few hours.

Very spacious, great location and view. All the amenities you could need.

Unable to access my floor initially. Access code let me in to the lift but then couldn't select the right floor as you need a key card to work the lift, which I didn't have until I got into the apartment. A little backwards and confusing! If it weren't for a resident who granted me access to the right floor then I don't know how I would have got there. No instructions for this in the check in details. I think kass just presume the lift will take you up

Just a tip: I understand that complete online check in would usually be seen as a large plus, but as international guests our phones only worked in the US with wifi. However, we could not access the wifi until we got into the room. Therefore, we had to call Kasa in order to gain access, but the employee on the phone was very friendly and helpful. In the future, it might be good to consider an alternative for international guests. Just a tip!

The pool was great for the little one. Tons of space and place was clean and comfortable

The door keypad is a little janky. Hard to tell when the code works. Took us multiple tries. Construction on the weekday was quite loud. Jack hammering at 8am. The TV would not stay connected to the internet. It would work intermittently then we had to unplug it to have it reconnect to the wifi.

great space, exactly as expected. easy enough to check in and park.

there’s no staff on site and in my prior experience with Kasa, there was a concierge to assist remotely. without that, it was a little unclear what the guardrails for use of property were, and there weren’t many amenities. it was really more of an AirBnB feeling than a special suite kind of experience, which was disappointing.

Our apartment was beautiful and spacious with a large balcony. Great views of the city. You cannot beat this location! Right in the middle of downtown within walking distance to bars, restaurants, etc. This was an amazing stay and very affordable. Much less expensive than other hotels in the area. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely stay here again!

I liked that the communication/check in was all through an app, but was told I would receive check in instructions 2 days prior and come the day of my trip I had not received any. However, I simply messaged Kasa thru the app and had my check-in instructions in a couple hours!

The location is perfect. The bed was very comfortable and we don't hear the street sounds too much. There is everything you need to cook and although you have to contact them by text or phone, they are prompt to answer and to correct the situation to your liking. Unfortunately, we weren't able to use the pool but it looked like a great place to relax after a day of running around town. We highly recommend it.

There is a drip coffee machine not an espresso/cappucino one. If I have something to complain about.

Overall, it was a perfectly pleasant stay. The location was awesome, bars and restaurants down stairs. The price was good though the taxes and fees put it a good bit higher. The balcony was really the highlight of the place.

The upkeep on the apartment was really not good. The place, though clean, looked dingy. It has lots of scuffs on the walls, bad patch jobs from past picture hangings, and busted blinds. This is a small thing that would have made a big difference. Also, I don't know that it could have been better, but the arrival procedure was an awful pain. As I came down to go to dinner, I literally found another Kasa customer in tears. She had not read the instructions, they are helpful but still. I pointed her to the elevator and explained how to get in, I hope she made it.

I loved the location of this apartment. It was right in the middle of the city and on the "grown up" side of Houston which was much better than running into a lot of college kids. I also really liked the space of the apartment, it was comfortable and trendy. I enjoyed the pool in the afternoon, and then came up later to relax on the balcony in the evening. It was a perfect solo getaway. Also, I noticed that the trash from the previous visitor was still in the kitchen, but hidden in a cabinet that they forgot to check when cleaned out, and there was mold on the shower curtain, HOWEVER, when I pointed these small flaws out, they were immediately rectified and communicated their sincere apology. It's not unusual for something to be overlooked, but I was happy that they texted me back and offered to do another cleaning of the room while I was there.

The garage key was a pain. It allowed me to go in and come out, but then when I went to check out, it stopped working and of course when everyone was checking out -- no attendant was anywhere to be found. I used the "call" button on the pay machine, but then she said she had to call the manager. To make a long story short, there were quite a few angry people trying to get out of the garage with no one there to assist. Another tenant had to let me out of the garage, I just don't know if it let her out too?! It's on a "loop," so if it says that you are out, even though you are still parked inside the garage, it will not let you out.
