Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn

Oh my! The complimentary breakfast would have cost us $50 in Pigeon Forge. Peaches and cream stuffed French toast served with fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, and large fresh fruit cup cover in sweetened cream cheese cream. Everything was exceptionally clean, for which I am picky. The location away from the busy-ness was better than staying at a chain hotel sitting next to another chain hotel in the middle of the noise and lights.

Update the decorative style...mainly the carpet. Country B & B doesn't have to be "80's great aunt."

The Inn was a peaceful retreat. Wonderful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. And, loved the Temptation Station and availability of a wide variety of drinks throughout the day. The room was just as the pictures portrayed; clean, lovely, comfortable. Cannot beat the porch w/ the gorgeous views of the Smokeys and the comfortable seating. And, most of all, the Christian atmosphere and the prayer every morning over breakfast. Home away from home.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

The property is beautiful and well maintained! The people that work there are amazing and work as a team by making sure that each guest is comfortable and have what they need! We had a four night stay, and due to our schedule with other things going on we only ate breakfast two mornings. The food was so good, well planed and prepared and served with love! We stayed in a cottage, and the view from the porch was amazing. We were able to watch the sunrise over the mountains and it was absolutely gorgeous.

The one, and only complaint that I have is the covering on the bed…..it had the normal flat sheet, a very thin blanket, and probably what use to be a nice fluffy down comforter, but it was very worn. There was a back up blanket in the closet that was more of a throw not a blanket that fits a king sized bed. It would’ve been okay if it was spring or summer, but being that it’s cold it leaves room for improvement. I’m allergic to down and usually bring my own pillows and throw blanket, which was very useful this time. My recommendation would be to plan accordingly based on the weather, and that maybe they inspect and replace their coverings more often even it it’s based on the weather.

The whole property was beautiful. We stayed in the main house that was decorated in red, white and blue for the 4th of July holiday. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It had plenty of space. The breakfast was my favorite thing. Very well cooked with a variety on different days. There was a 24 hour coffee and drink station where the hosts would leave desserts during the evening. This was a wonderful place and we will definitely be back in the future.

Breakfast was fantastic! I love that grace was said every morning. The treats in the evening were a fantastic way to end our day! It felt like we were visiting family! The porch kitty was such a sweet boy, I loved getting a few minutes each morning to sit with him.

There were just a couple small things...like no TP holder in the bathroom & I felt the carpet could use a good cleaning.

Comfortable, quiet & relaxing with beautiful views. Very accommodating & friendly staff. Nicely decorated & clean. Exceptional, homemade meals & treats with variety. Many lovely areas in and out to just sit, relax & converse with other guests.

No elevator, but owner helped carry bags. Baths with really nice spa/jacuzzi, which we did not use only because of our age. Even showers could use bars to hold on to.

The Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn is a gem located only a few minutes from the main road and local attractions. The inn itself is extremely homey and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in the Sugarlands room immensely! The rooms have automatic locking doors and each room has a private bathroom. Our room was extremely clean. The Jacuzzi was a very nice place to relax! Communal living areas are furnished with period decor and were comfortable places to meet other guests and spend time. The included desserts each evening were delicious! We definitely plan to return!

Overall we were comfortable and enjoyed the evening on the porch with a beautiful quiet view. The staff were very friendly and we loved the free homemade cakes in the evening and how lots of things were offered to make it feel like home (Netflix, tea etc)

The decor is not totally to my taste and also a little bit dated but we were overall very comfortable. The breakfast we okay, a very sickly unhealthy toast with yoghurt in the middle was not great but fine

This little country inn is the best place I heave ever stayed in. When you first pull in the driveway you can tell there is something special about it. The grounds were very clean. When you walked thru the front door it was like walking into a home. Everything was so clean and pleasant. The staff was so friendly. our room was exceptionally clean. I was never at a discomfort wondering about the cleanliness. The desserts were wonderful that was put out for the guests. Ot was a home away from home.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

- Hands down the best thing for me was the staff. From the owners down to the normal staff, they truly made you feel at home and like you weren’t just income for them! I had great talks with management everyday and felt like I knew them personally by the end of my trip. - The Chef, Eric, was fantastic and the private dinner was well worth the money! - The breakfast every morning was divine. - Location is key and keeps you away from the busy strip.
