Best Western Magnolia Inn and Suites

Staff was personable, friendly and service-focused. Every staff person was friendly and asking what they might do to make my stay better. Janet and McKayla (front desk) were exemplary in their welcome and offering the ‘extra’ to facilitate my comfort. Josfea (Sp?) who prepared breakfast Sat and Sun was so pleasant and smiling made my day better! I remarked what a pleasure to meet a staff who were an asset to the Corporation and the hospitality business.

The inability to make a left hand turn out of the property.

Loved how well appointed the room was, and the availability and price of room. We stayed at a tru the night before and we're so disappointed with how basic it was for the price, so we were delighted when we got to the best western and everything we had missed at Hilton we had here at BW. Breakfast was great and ran long enough for us to sleep in.

Pool was pretty cold, but it is very shaded. Rooms were not soundproofed that well to the outdoors, we heard lots of sirens and cars revving on the road outside, but it didn't keep us up.

The location was perfect for the event I was attending. The room was cozy with a nice view. And the price was affordable. The staff was very nice as well.

On the website it states there is an indoor pool, but it turns out it is an outdoor pool so my daughter and I weren’t able to use it due to weather concerns. Also, the breakfast wasn’t very good, but at least there was a continental breakfast.

The staff was amazing from the moment we walked in to check in! Very kind, knowledgeable about the area, and gracious during our stay! Lots of little surprises, including a bottle of wine given to us after a long day of travel, and check ins on us during our 3 day stay. We will definitely stay here again when visiting our enlisted soldier! Wonderful experience!

Room was clean as well as the rest of the facility I saw. Breakfast was delicious all 3 days! Staff was pleasant and helpful all 3 days and we appreciated the friendly welcome every day.

The room was damp and chilly at first but we got it somewhat under control. Not enough air circulation for me but I'm a fresh air freak.

Employees were very nice. Breakfast was more than we expected and the lady preparing it was so very nice. The two girls at the check in were very nice and helpful. Had to get repair man to reprogram tv so it would work when we arrived and he was friendly and told us things to watch. If we need a place to stay again near Charleston, it will be here. They all made our stay very enjoyable! Oh and it was quiet.

I was very impressed with how quiet housekeeping was compared to other hotels! They are not intrusive and they do not yell down the hall at each other while cleaning other rooms! They were very respectful! Front desk was awesome and very helpful! The location is the bad part because the loud cars coming off of the interstate but that is something the hotel cannot help! Overall I was very pleased with everything!

I use this hotel to put my family when they come to visit. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good and the coffee is always good no matter what time of the day you stop for a cup. If your in the Summerville area and need a great place to stay give them a go, they are located right off of 26 east easy to get to. Trust me you’ll be glad you did.

Unless you enjoy hot water that only tastes like burnt coffee I would avoid it. The juices are not very good either. The best advice I could give an otherwise excellent stay would be to dispose of both machine.

All workers were very nice and accommodating during our stay.

The only issue I have with the value is that I asked to use a different card from what I booked with. However, I was charged on both cards, the card I booked with and the card I asked to be charged to. Both cards are in my name and I gave proof of ID. When I called to get this corrected there was not a manager on duty until the next day. This seems like a very bad way to do business. Managers should be available, or someone on duty should be able to handle these issues.
