Courtyard by Marriott Columbia Northeast/Fort Jackson Area

The staff was friendly and competent. The front desk was efficient. The beds were super comfortable.

We had loud music playing next door during bedtime hours - bass thumping through the walls! It took several calls to the front desk and trips from them, but I will say they handled it by finally just asking the guests to completely shut off their music bc they could not keep it at a low volume. Even though that was stressful before getting children to bed, to the staff and management’s credit, they handled it well and quickly when contacted for further action due to the continued noise.

the property was nice, the staff were all nice. the mood was quite and relaxing.

the property was great, I only recommend they add more cameras on the back, because there our rooms on the back, and there are people, like me, that want to park their car near their room. they have no video to see who bust the window out my car. but they did everything besides that to try to help me and I appreciate them for that.

To know upfront that there is a incidental charge and the amount charged. Nice stay, I one of those who spends working earned money and would like to know all charges upfront.

Getting charged for something I was not informed of at all. From the booking site to the front desk of your beautiful establishment. Fine print is not a good idea for up charges. Please state all charges upfront it all possible.

We stayed for a week. Very nice hotel and property. Very clean and comfortable. Limited Bistro hours means that you may have to go out for a meal if you are a night owl. Not many restaurants near by. About 15 minutes to downtown Columbia makes this hotel much more appealing than the hotels in Irmo (and I've stayed at almost every hotel on Harbison). Very friendly staff who are happy to make your stay enjoyable.

My only real complaint is that the grounds keepers start their leaf/grass blowers too early in the morning and woke us up.

I hate that the pool was closed. I chose this hotel because it had a pool. The bed was also not comfy.

The location was good near the highway. The food was good from the bar.

The bed was not as comfortable as I expected after reading the reviews and the linens didn’t smell fresh. The walls are thin. You can hear neighbors shower and I think there was an elephant staying upstairs.

The bistro, pool, and lounge area were great features of the location. The hotel is conveniently located to a major highway, yet surprisingly quiet. The beds are quite comfortable.

The room was less clean than we would expect at from a Marriott hotel, some grime in the corners and a stained carpet.

Lots of drunk people around the pool, fighting in the parking lot. Drunk people fighting & banging on doors all night.

Everything it’s the perfect location. The staff is amazing and the actual owner is on property. The food in the bistro is so good! The beds are comfy and the rooms are beautiful. We have been there 3 times and continue to go back

Comfortable bed. Location was good, we were there for our son's graduation from Basic Training. Just a 10-15 minute drive to get to Fort Jackson and it was convenient to get to. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The bistro was ok.
