Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful.

Hot tub wasn't hot and could use a bit more cleaning. Some algae present but know that it does require a lot to keep clean.

The room was very comfortable. They have done renovations since we had been there last and everything was very nice. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean. All the staff we encountered were very nice and helpful.

The meat served at breakfast was not very good. It was dry and had little flavor. Almost like eating an overcooked hamburger (it was sausage). The rest of breakfast was great! The pool was cloudy, some algea growing under the lip of the pool. The hot tub was not hot. We did ask about it at the front desk. They said they were having trouble getting maintenance there. These are literally our only issues. And they were almost not worth mentioning.. but that sausage was 😳

This was a nice and convenient place to stay while visiting family in the area - centrally located to everything. Couldnt beat the price. Easy to get to and one of the nicer looking hotels in the area. I requested a top floor room away from elevators and that is exactly where they placed us. We did not try to use the pool or fitness facilities so I cannot comment on them. The breakfast was a typical breakfast offered at most hotels - we did not eat it - coffee was decent though.

I will say the reviews about the water pressure in the shower were correct. We only stayed over night so it didnt bother us but there was definitely issues. The shower was the most dated item in the room - it seems they may be upgrading the property though so maybe that is something they will be fixing in the future. Other than that the only other issue I would point out is that the hotel is quiet but you can hear people stomping around and slamming their doors early in the morning.

The location is perfect for what we needed. The rooms are nice and big. Breakfast is pretty good, the pool was nice and clean. Kevin at the front desk is always friendly!

Hottub jets didn't work at all, they don't mess around when it comes to breakfast it's off not a min after they stop serving. Our room wasn't very clean, other staff was not friendly at all!

The Wingate is tucked back in a quiet area just off a major highway. Location is central to shopping, restaurants, and very accessible to anywhere you need to drive. Complimentary breakfast is served until 9:30 and was very adequate for my needs. I stayed four nights and anything I needed was brought up within a few minutes. There is ample free parking.

The WiFi seemed at bit sketchy at times. I was able to use the computer in the business center to checkin and print out my boarding passes for a flight.

Friendly staff, hotel is in good condition. There is a large lobby, a business room with computers and a printer, fitness room and an indoor pool. The price was very reasonable for the above-average quality of accommodations. I was traveling with an elderly relative who is rather difficult. The general manager Carolyn was very helpful in finding my aunt a room on the ground floor with a fold-out bed.

The breakfast timing was a bit unpredictable: one day, the cereal and milk wasn't available until 8am; another day it was there very early (5:30 am). Several guests commented on the front desk staff being absent from their post sometimes and/or hearing them in the back office but not being able to get their attention. Every place is dealing with staff shortages though.

Overall We did enjoy our stay rooms were clean beds were comfy when you enter the hotel it's very nice,nice quite location and not to far of a drive to Hershey park. Kids enjoyed the pool staff was friendly and got you what you needed when asked. Also there are restaurants around the area and right next door and a grocery store as well as other shopping if needed. We would stay again.

When we stayed there was no room service still due to covid guidelines so we had to always go get extra towels and garbage bags which wasn't a big deal due to the circumstances . Also if you book more than one room for a family vacation and they end up paying themselves once you arrive they still took and pulled all the money from the card you book with and you have to wait for 5-7 days for it to be refunded so that was an inconvenience exp when your on vacation and need that money available so would be nice to know that up front.

Great value for the stay. Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Staff was awesome and helpful.

staff was Awesome, property could use some work. Stains in our carpet, caulk in our shower was discolored or moldy, recent construction looked like an amateur did it very sloppy with big holes still in wall.

Close to major highway, lots of dining options around... Out of the way. Pool area excellent.

There is a dingy motel 6 right next door to this hotel. A few sketchy types were hanging there...

location worked for the areas we needed to go to. grocery and restaurants were convenient.

I would suggest heavier padding on the ironing board. I needed to use it and it made "honeycomb" spots on my husbands' dress pants and dress shirt. I used a bath towel under the cover to prevent the pattern.
