Econo Lodge City Center

Very quiet and nice neighborhood for a cheap and easy hotel. The man up front was so extremely helpful and kind, which made the whole experience. It's right next to a bunch of food trucks and the train so if you're hungry or need to travel it's all at your fingertips. The train and 2 different bus stations are all next door, so getting from place to place was extremely easy.

My only critique would be the walls are VERY thin.... we had our window out to the street and heard people clear as day outside, as well as our upstairs neighbors. While it wasn't terribly noisey, all it takes is one loud person and it could have ruined the expeirence. In the end, a great and affordable place.

Good location. I had a coffee maker in a room and the refrigerator, so I was fine, I like the fact that unlike some other hotels in a city there was an ability to open a window which is economically and ecologically preferable to conditioner and better for your health.

Posting said the room had a queen bed, but it was actually a double. Not a big deal, but with my 6'4" hubby we do prefer a queen. Also said there is breakfast, but after booking you find out it's not available.

Staff was friendly & kind. They were prompt in contacting us after an item was left in the room, so while we had to backtrack to retrieve the item it was a minimum amount to time lost. Also, we were able to walk to the locations we wanted to visit.

It was a last minute booking, but I was very impressed with the room, the cleanliness and that it had a refrigerator and a very clean bathroom with good water pressure. Very convenient location and good value.

Everything was fine. Would have liked coffee makers in rooms - but really it was good value. The stuff that was important was very good.

The location was good and there were food vans over the road so we had a Mexican dinner and it was excellent. The room was a little small but ok just for the night. All clean and lots of hot water and a good shower.

Motels have become expensive in the last theee years.

Coffee/Tea and fresh prepackaged pastries were available.

It is an older building with not much style but for the price it was very nice.

A different style of hotel to what we are use to, however the staff were super kind, always on hand and make the stay a great one

Pay for parking 10 bucks a day sucks

It was clean friendly staff nice and quiet just the place to come back and rest after a long and exhausting day. It is a definite that I will try to stay there when I am passing visiting Portland again.
