Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff was helpful.

My room key had to be re-callibrated every night because I kept the room key next to my phone in my purse…not sure where else to keep it. Maybe need some sort of protective sleeve? Rooms were nice…hallway carpets (3rd floor) seemed dated and looked dirty because of the color and pattern…that’s just me because I don’t like carpet to begin with. When I’m back in Portland, I will definitely consider this location again. L though I only ate at the Black Bear Diner once in the four days I was there, it was nice to have it close by.

Breakfast was excellent, fresh, and well planned for this buffet style. There were problems with the room: toilet started to run, but was quickly taken care of when I brought it to the staff; air conditioning went out the last night I was there (I was there 4 nights). Brought it to the attention of the staff the next morning, and I have no doubt it was taken care of after I left. The lobby computer had trouble starting when I tried to get my boarding pass, and the screen was light (needs replacement?). The staff though light were very friendly and helpful to my needs.

There were several issues of items not working as noted above (toilet, air conditioning, lobby computer). More repairs/replacements need to take place.

Room was clean & comfortable and rates were fare. Breakfasts were ok. To the hotel's credit, they try to please everyone...but it is an impossible endeavor. All staff we encountered were friendly.

The exterior can use cleaning up. Of course, again, it's almost impossible to do. The hotel would almost need 24-hour maintenance for the cleaning & upkeep because a lot of guests & non-guests do not always pick up after themselves, nor their pets.

Room was basic - but the bed was exceedingly comfortable. It's a mid-grade hotel and met expectations for that. Front desk staff, housekeeping staff, and breakfast room staff were wonderful. The stairwell was clean and very well-lit. The Tootsie Rolls at the front desk is a nice touch!

Hotel is a bit worn. The icemaker on the 3rd floor was broken the three nights we were there, but the one on 2 worked well so it wasn't really a problem.

everything was perfect, clean and tidy room. comfortable mattress, hotel was clean, staff friendly. the room needs a bit of an update but at 9/10

pool is open until 10pm, wish it was open until 12pm. there were no large towels in the room, not critical but uncomfortable. The room is clean, but it looks like it needs some updating.

Only Takeaway breakfast due to Covid (apples and 2 kinds of sugary muffins which disappeared really fast, oh well) The coffee at the coffee station was good. The hotel and room was clean and our room was quiet enough. The aircon/heater didn't rattle. The bathroom was fairly small, but adequate , however the room itself was roomy with a huge TV and enough sockets for charging things. Most important these days is a good eatery nearby: just across the parking lot is the Black Bear Diner with huge servings and reasonable prices. All in all would stay here again.

No one at the desk at 9:00 -11:00 am, even not on the phone - but that may have been a one-off. Price is higher than you might expect, but these are unusual times, and after an extensive search, this hotel was the best price wise for location and features. Hotels prices have definitely gone up everywhere, so I don't mind recommending this one for economy-minded travelers.

The rooms were clean ✨ and comfortable ✨. The staff were very kind✨ and helpful✨.

The pool was really cold, it would have been better to have the pool heated and the price was just a little high since we had kids and they wanted to swim in a chilly pool. We had a great time and wouldn’t have changed anything except the price a little and/or the pool being warmer. Overall 4 out of 5 Thank you 🙏

broken items in room was told no maintenance available. did not make up room as per policy, but since leaving the next day did not say anything. breakfast was good but more options can be offered

The staff, Steven in particular was great. Wherever you go, regardless of what you're doing what makes it or breaks it is the staff. Steven was helpful, respectful, kind, and very professional. Amazing customer service. The hotel as a whole was surprisingly clean.

The mattress was VERY good and I wanted to know what kind it was. The morning staff was kind and helpful, and she said she was brand new. The premise was clean, and location was convenient.

Having to walk outside through a parking garage to get to the elevator (too similar to a motel in that regard), the poor quality and confusion about how to get breakfast. Some very noticeable noise coming from other guests out in the hall that weren't very respectful.
