DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Columbus Downtown

Location, staff, and cleanliness of hotel were great! Elevators in parking garage go right up to hotel lobby. Delicious cookie given upon check in.

Paid for upgraded room with view of river, but windows were dirty and couldn't really enjoy view. Not much lighting in living room of suite. Ordered food from hotel restaurant and took back to our room to eat, but sandwich was missing avocado and no tarter sauce for fish. Did not call down and let kitchen know, as we were rushed to eat and get to concert on time.

Staff was friendly. Room was very big and comfortable.

Bartender Joe started out not very friendly, but it turns out he was having a difficult time with the chef Joy, who came out in front of us and other patrons complaining that it was 9:31 when our food order was placed and that the kitchen was closed. Joe took her back to the kitchen to complete their “conversation”, explained the situation to us and apologized. We did get our food and it was good, but the overall stressful attitude generated by Joy was uncomfortable.

It was a perfect location for what we were there for. They allowed us to check in a little early and parking was free in the garage. The room was very large and clean.

The parking deck entrance was a little confusing and not very clear on how to get to the entrance. The fridge in the room didn’t work well, Bathroom was a little weird and toilet didn’t touch very well.

the staff was great. the hotel was full due to the power outages across the city. the staff went out of their way to get our room ready and was very helpful. The desk staff, maintenance, and the lounge staff helped accommodate our needs.

When we arrived in our room, the shower curtain and waste cans were missing. We called the desk and they were brought up in minutes, which was great. There was a wet spot on the carpet and something like coffee or soda on the bathroom door jamb. Whomever had the room before us had really messed up the room. But the hotel staff was great in turning the room over and bringing the missing items. Like I mentioned, the hotel was really busy and full due to the power probelems in the city. Hilton should develop the unused basketball court into a rooftop garden and green space.

Comfortable room and bed. TVs were large and accessible for plugging in my streaming device. Comfortable couch and kitchenette was handy. Restaurant had good food and service was great.

Pillows were a bit a lacking. Too soft and not firm enough. Kid pulled a fire alarm at midnight but that isnt the fault per se of the hotel.

Room was very big and clean. Almost like I was staying in a studio apartment because of all the room. Very satisfied.

Room was extremely warm, talked to staff and they said it was due to the condensor not being on. Made sleeping a little uncomfortable. On two occassions two duffernet groups walked into our room with door keys stating that is where they were put by the front desk staff. Luckily we where there in both occasions during this, because who knows if we were not in the room we could.if had our things stolen. Alsi, was.told.by staff we where checking out on specific date which was a mistake because we still has kne more.day left and kur keys were no lknger usable and had to have front desk look for the mistake and reactivate our kids.

I personally did not care for the breakfast. The quality of food for $22.50 was definitely not worth it.

The staff and room were excellent. However, it was hard to find the parking garage and lobby upon arrival. When you walk into the building you gad to take the elevator which was located off to the side up to the lobby which was very confusing due to not signs.

Hotel was very nice from start to end the room appeared to be clean and the shower had amazing pressure felt like I was home. The hotel was in a great area around where I needed to be staff was friendly

My room appeared to be clean until I laid down on the bed and there was a awful smell of cigarettes coming from behind the bed when I decided to look behind there to my surprise there was a joint left behind by previous guest right under the bed on the side.. this was noticeable without really having to move the mattress not sure how this could be missed by housekeeping made me feel like the sheets were not changed before we arrived.. we’re not complainers so we just removed the sheets luckily we had brought our own blanket after we cleaned up under our bed the smell went away and we enjoyed the rest of our stay

The room was much larger than I had anticipated. Even though I was only in town for an overnight stay, it was nice to have some extra space. Parking in the attached garage was well-lit, and I had no trouble finding a spot a short walk from the elevator to the lobby. Both check-in and check-out were quick, and the staff was great.

I don't have any suggestions for improvement. As long as the room is clean and in good shape, I'm generally a happy traveler. No complaints from me, and I'd absolutely book a room here again (and coincidentally I already did for an upcoming trip).

Hotel was very conveniently located room was very big and spacious. Staff were very nice and considerate.

The room had two televisions but one didnt work Also the phone was broken
