Clarion Hotel Beachwood-Cleveland

This was honestly pretty good for the amount of money I paid. Room was spacious, TV worked, beds were comfy. The bathroom was very clean, which was most important to me. Considering some reviews of here mentioned bugs, I was apprehensive but I am happy to report that there was not a single bug seen!

There were some stains on the bedding and in the carpet, but nothing concerning. Weird smell in the hallways, but honestly I can't remember a hotel I've been to that didn't have some hallway funk, and it didn't seem to be in the room at all.

Clean, comfortable hotel with very good staff. Comfortable beds, fairly quiet A/C unit and welcoming breakfast area with plenty of options. HDTV of good quality and plentiful parking.

Would like if they had a fridge in the room. Also, would like to see some USB charging points (the only one available was on the rear of the usually-confusing-to-use alarm clock. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, though there was plenty of hot water. The room was a bit overpriced for a 2-star hotel.

Breakfast was amazing. Wide variety of choices. The breakfast staff was very kind and accommodating she went above and beyond to help us. We’ve been on the road for a week and that was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. The rooms were clean and the staff was great. I think this hotel should be rated higher than it is. We were very pleased with it.

Location was fabulous! They accommodated my request of being close to the ice/ vending. Breakfast was nice variety and plenty of options even for the pickiest of people.

I was close to the check in desk, so I unfortunately heard people all evening and morning. The carpet in my room could use replacing.

Could not find the area for breakfast, didn’t have a lot of time. There was probably 6-7 people there and they seemed to be eating cereal or bagel. Is that all there was for breakfast?

IT WOULD have been nice to have a paper guide for the TV channels. Just had to channel surf til I found something I wanted. When checking out, there was a man behind the counter, I assume a manager, and he was rude and pushy to the lady who was going to check me out. Butted in front of her, did not say excuse me, kind of pushed her aside. You know my checkout date, see who was working that morning. I REALLY did not appreciate him acting like that.

Maybe I should have reviewed the amenities, but I was disappointed that there was no microwave in the room as I needed one. Fortunately, there was one in the breakfast area that I had access to, so it was an inconvenience, but at least I did have access to it.

Nothing as such, room was little small (it was per the description though). It would have been better if there was single or 2 seater sofa.

Staff was extremely nice. Location has multiple places to eat nearby. Price was good. The bed was comfortable.

We had issues with our TV and had ants in the bathroom

The receptionist was extremely unfriendly and rude as well Did not welcome us in a friendly manner. We had to ring the bell several times before someone showed up.
