king suite is spacious, corner room was quiet, amenities were functional. We arrived just after 9:30 for breakfast which is quite late; the buffet manager was incredibly gracious and hospitable, allowing my family to eat anything we wanted, and made sure we could ask for more as she began to close the eating area. wow!

cheated by Booking.com - overcharged from hotel rate, was misinformed of check-in time. Hotel charges about $125 for the king suite, while Booking.com charged me over $165 for one night. I was told at the hotel we could have checked in at 1pm, but Booking.com denied my request for early check-in, and misinformed me that check in was 4pm.

The foyer was very pleasing as you came in. Was nicely set up with lots of chairs to sit around and talk if you want. Staff was great, very friendly, especially the lady That was looking after you're the breakfast area on Wednesday morning. Very friendly, there was a lot of food out was great.

I did find the bed to be a little stiff. And instead of actually putting a half decent top blanket, they just had What looked to be an old mattress cover between 2 sheets.

Great breakfast! The staff was so helpful. Loved the pool. It was close to shopping, restaurants (great pizza place attached to the hotel), and the Alerus Center is very close. The hotel is pet friendly but very clean.

It has been a little while since I traveled, I was surprised when I was charged $30.87usd taxes over what Booking had quoted. I don't remember that happening before. My apologies if that is normal, I just always remember the price being what I was quoted.

Breakfast was great, location of hotel also. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I actually booked for another date in 3 weeks.

I asked for a room on 1st floor which was excellent as there was an exit door right there. My husband who is oxygen dependent loved being able to not have to walk far. The downside was it was next to the kitchen so being a light sleeper I woke up when they started preparing breakfast but I’d stay in that room again.

Nice foyer, comfortable beds, quiet, dog friendly.

The breakfast was just okay-we have had many free breakfasts at hotels and the food wasn’t as good. Staff woman who came to report the pool was closed just opened the door and yelled like a drill Sargent “pool is closed” and then “hot tub people!! pool is closed). She worked in the evening and had long dark hair. The woman at the desk during the day who checked us in was very pleasant.

Breakfast was over the top. Eggs, ham, potatoes, waffles, fruit, breads, muffins, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, plus more. Just one night stay got in late didn't use the pool or fitness center but saw them they look nice. Room was clean. Air conditioning worked well was glad that it had option for fan on all the time for white noise.

Only reason I couldn't give it a 10 was the beds where more firm than I like. They were quite firm.

The breakfast items were all exceptionally delicious! The staff were very attentive, professional and courteous. We enjoyed the dining area, too, as it was clean and near windows. Much appreciated!

My adult daughters and I were disappointed that the pool area walls looked rusty. It wasn't a very inviting environment. The smell of chlorine was quite obviouis and a bit overpowering upon entrance to the hotel, too.

We stayed in three hotels in three days. This was by far the least expensive but nicest of the three. Great price, beautiful clean room and best breakfast selection we saw. AC in the room was not great, but it had been extremely hot outside so maybe just AC was overworked trying to keep up. We definitely would stay again!

The lighting in the room was a little dim for my liking.

Good location. Nice room/layout. Soft sheets.

Bed a little stiff and the bedding tended to bunch up. Making for an uncomfortable sleep. Attached restaurant didn’t match the feel of the hotel. Should have been a little nicer of a restaurant for this hotel. Good shower. Only 1 elevator and it is slow and made a HORRIBLE noise. It was frightening going up and down it.

No craziness of big city, full of people, was PERFECT for relaxation! Room was perfect, clean and beautiful!! Super nice people in everything area of hotel! True down home, small town values!!

Nothing comes to mind, even when elevator was out of order. I needed that walk up stairs to get my exercise. I hate that I didn't take photos of our stay. Room was perfect!
