We stayed here for about a week. It was great to have a full kitchen. Lots of on-site parking. Near to shopping and restaurants if you have a vehicle. The staff was quite friendly and polite.

It took a long time to check-in and get my keys even though I checked in on the app before I got to the hotel. I would have skipped including the breakfast with my reservation if that was an option as the offerings were of low quality. There was painting and construction going on outside our room which no one mentioned was going to happen. The pool was only open from noon to 5:00PM, even during the sweltering summer days. I think they could have extended the hours.

We liked the property but we were NOT happy nor did we understand why our price was over $100.00 more this stay, when we’d stayed there exactly one week earlier?! It was quite a surprise and sticker shock! It felt like a scam honestly. When we inquired why it was suddenly so high, we were told, ‘we reserve the right to charge a higher price based on occupancy.’ It left a bad taste in our mouth and we won’t return. We tipped the cleaners well both stays and thanked them for their hard work and clean rooms but the sudden major price hike was ridiculous!

Feeling like we’d been taken by the drastic change in price from last weekend to this weekend, for the exact same room type and wknd night? $100.00 more?!

This hotel was FANTASIC! Hotel so clean and rooms large and had plenty of space. Staff were so friendly and helpful really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The women at the front desk were outstanding!!! They all greeted us with a smile and were so accommodating. I have traveled the world and stayed in all types of hotels and this stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Yonkers Westchester was one of the BEST hotels stays I have ever had. Hats off to all your outstanding employees. And just want to add a big shout out to the two gentleman working the breakfast May 17th and 18th breakfast room was so busy and they handle the crowd and demands for food with smiles and grace just amazing employees.

Nothing this stay was perfect couldn't ask for better

Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and varied. The support staff in the dining room were very helpful and congenial without being intrusive. Great way to start the day. Our room was very comfortable. It was designed well so that sleepers could be separated from someone working in the living area. Great kitchen for a small apartment. Bed comfortable. The facility looked brand new even though the renovation took place several years ago. EVERYONE on the staff was wonderfully helpful and kind and cheerful. The diverse staff and residents was most welcome.

The hours for the pool could have been longer.

The hotel is very clean and quiet. I requested an ADA room. I called the night before my visit to confirm. I thought the room would come with a roll in shower. The room that was reserved only had a low tub and no grab bars. My mother cannot lift her legs so I was disappointed. When I checked in I asked if there was a room available with a roll in shower and, fortunately for us, we were upgraded to an ADA suite with the roll in shower and two bathrooms.

My only complaint is the one room in the suite with the roll in shower should have had the king size bed rather than the queen bed. Also, since the beds are high, possibly having a small step stool to make it easier for a handicapped person get up on the bed.

Although the hotel's pool was mentioned as an amenity at check- in, it was only open during the afternoon (an unlikely time for usage by one-night stayers). Apparently closure later in the day is due to a Yonkers law that prohibits usage without a lifeguard on duty. If the hotel cannot find or afford an evening lifeguard, it shouldn't emphasize the pool at check-in after a lifeguard is no longer available.

food was good

on our first night there our A/C unit died in the room. It was tough to sleep when it is 84 degrees in your room. Joanne at the front desk and the maintenance dept tried to fix it but no luck. They were sold out, so we had to sweat it out. On the 2nd day we transferred into a room with A/C we went from 84 to 68. They took good care of holding the new room till we could get back to pack and unpack. Fatima worked on our bill during our check out.

Breakfast was great should start at 6 everyone morning. Parking was ideal . Staff was courteous and friendly throughout my stay from front desk to housekeeping!. Id definitely recommend to friends and family and will be back

The sofa bed mattress was not soft could feel the springs I recommend adding mattress cover soft top

The staff was accommodating and had great customer service skills. I would totally stay here again! Our room was perfect and having Access to a kitchen and utensils was such a plus! Great stay and would Stay again!

We stayed here because we didn't want to stay in NYC as we had a rental car, and this was very convenient for Greystone Station with less than an hour on the train into Grand Central. Also chose this hotel as it had two bedroom suite and we were travelling with our adult son.

Noise of the AC. Uncomfortably loud with ours on, and still quite loud overnight from other guests when we turned ours off.
