New facility that was very clean. Had a disinfected smell. Bed was very comfortable. Location was near the interstate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just note that this facility only offers breakfast items for purchase. Coffee was good. Staff made recommendations for local eateries..
Had a few little issues that included old coffee filter in the coffee maker. and the bathroom sink faucet had low flow. Both reported to staff upon check out and they apologized

The property was super clean!! Staff was very friendly. There were several youth football teams staying at the same time as us. The halls were noisy (as should be expected with lots of kids) but once inside the room, we didn’t hear anything outside of the room. Was very impressed with the property. Will definitely consider staying here again!!!!
The only thing I can say gave us trouble was extremely low water pressure in the bathroom sink and our tub didn’t drain well at all.

It is clean. It is nice and it is extremely affordable for as nice as it is. The staff is very friendly. Comes with a full size refrigerator, a range (no oven), a microwave, and a full size coffee pot. Most places only have a mini fridge, a microwave, and a 1 cup coffee maker so that was all nice to see. Definitely great for if someone were to be staying multiple days and didn't want to spend money eating out.
It would be a lot better if they offered a continental breakfast. The ice maker in the fridge didn't work properly. The shower wouldn't drain, so we were standing in a tub full of water while in the shower. If not for those 3 things, I would have given it a 10/10 score. This is where we stay any time we are in the KC area overnight.

You had a power outage during our stay which was not your fault. The man who was on night duty an excellent job of answering people's questions and being very professional with guests who were upset about the situation. The next the manager was very helpful in checking with corporate to see if she could give us a discount since we went thru booking.com. The discount was approved by corporate and booking.com is working on the refund now.
The toilet in room 113 was not properly secured to the floor and was a very low toilet.

Very clean, updated room, comfortable bed, comfortable lounge chair, good water pressure in the shower. Really like the kitchenette; besides a full size fridge, stove top and microwave oven and toaster, they supply the dish soap an paper towels too!!
If I have any complaint about the property it would have to be the laundry facilities. Two wagers and three dryers…the washer I used filled up with water then stalled for 25 minutes, the dryers did not dry well (according to me and other patrons).

I loved that you get a kitchenette with a basic room fee. This room in any other hotel would cost $200. This is why we will always return to this hotel when we are in the KC area. They give you the extras without charging extra. No one does that anymore!! Also, the beds are the most comfortable that I have slept on in a hotel. The room was very clean, even under the beds (yes, I always check every little corner). 100% chance we will be staying here again!

honestly, this hotel is amazing. I will more than likely always stay here when I’m in KC. Great value with great service. The front desk workers are awesome. One lady had an intoxicated guest and you could tell she was getting aggravated but she handled it so professionally. Can’t say enough things about it! Super clean and location is great!
The only negatives are the breakfast options but at the end of the day that’s not a huge deal breaker for me and the facility was a little dated but not a big deal.

The room and property as a whole were very clean and well kept. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful each time we interacted. I loved that there was a recliner in the room!
The bed was a bit hard for my liking but the linens were really nice. Also, the showerhead needed to be changed. In order to get any pressure out of it it had to be turned to the really hard setting so it felt like I was being pelted by small hail.

We had never heard of the My Place Hotel chain. I booked it because it was the closest place to where we needed to be, but I was concerned about the location, safety, and condition of the hotel. We were very happily surprised to find out the hotel is in a great location, close to a major shopping area and restaurants. In fact, a Culver's is directly across the street and a fantastic breakfast place just past it. The hotel was bright and clean, our room was great. The hotel clerk was very helpful and friendly and went beyond his responsibilities to help us with our sightseeing questions. The best part of the hotel was that we were given a room on the fourth floor and you could overlook the city for miles. We were there on July 4th weekend and watched fireworks going off from all over the city just by standing at the window of our room.
