Breakfast & Location. The location was perfect for having both an event at Mystic Lake & going to a Vikings game. This is the first hotel I’ve been to since Covid that had any hot food for breakfast (eggs, bacon, waffles). It was a pleasant surprise!
Neither pool or hot tub was available. This is pretty disappointing. This should be noted on website when this is the case. Also guests could be alerted by email when there is a change. For some, these are amenities that you look for when choosing a hotel. To find out you aren’t getting something you chose/paid for was very disappointing.

There a few things that we just annoying: The light switch by the door didn't turn on a light leaving me in a very dark , it turned out that it was connected to a lamp on the opposite side of the room and was turned off at the lamp. Th were no instructions for operating the TV and remote control, it defaulted to an advertisement for the cable/satellite system without a clear method to get to an actual TV program. There was a coffee maker in the room but no tea bags for those of us who don't drink coffee, There were no cups/glasses near the juice machine in the breakfast room, turns out they were by the coffee on the other side of a stairway and not visible from the breakfast room.

For the price point, this place exceeded my expectations. Clean, Great Breakfast, Roomy, AND FRIENDLY STAFF
The only minor things were the bathroom, could use a bit of updating, metal door frame was bit rusty, and there was a small tear in the carpeting between the beds. However the towels were plentiful and fluffy. and the beds were very comfy!

All the staff were extrodinary. Kind, helpful, friendly. The lobby is very accomodating for sitting in to read a book. The property is very close to shops people use at home making it easy to replace forgotten items. It's also next to Cracker Barrel. I'd never been in one. Good hardy breakfasts! I'll stay here again!
The physical structure was a little worn. Couldn't tell where to park. Bathroom needed some woodwork repair, all things most likely put off due to covid decline in business. Have to make money to spend money. Very understandable. I did have to ask not to have my room cleaned until I left because the cleaning supplies really mess with asthma.

Everything was pretty good however we did get awoken at 3am from a group of party bus goers. They blasted music until we had to get up and call the front desk. People were also banging on our door a bunch because they thought our room was theirs.

The WIFI, Clean room, great TV, Quiet,,, light blocking draperies, a desk for my computer, fluffy towels. LOVED the lamps with their plug in's for charging my phone and computer. I didn't have to crawl on the floor looking for a plug in...HOORAY!!! Great lighting. Very quiet heating unit in the room room
I would have liked a small table and chair so when my daughter brought over take out for me I had a place to sit and eat as my computer was hooked up on ton the desk.

The staff was welcoming. We didnt get a complaint about our active children - so that's a plus ! Breakfast had lots of options. The pool was the best pool my husband and I swam in.
Small bathroom. The remote wasn't working. One fo the beds had no space to walk around to the other side.

Outside of property was not maintained. Grass and weeds were not what a customer would say left a positive first impression. Lobby/dining area was not in the cleanest condition but food options fine.
