I was pleasantly surprised by this property. It looked really sketchy from the outside, but when I opened the door to my room, I couldn't believe how nice and modern it looked. The bathroom was very pretty. It had a very nice looking shower. However, the shampoo packet had already been opened and was leaking on the counter. There was no conditioner provided. There was no hair dryer provided. But there was a fridge and a microwave, both of which worked very nicely. The bed was comfortable. It was actually quiet even though it was close to a busy highway.

I would have liked to have had a hair dryer and shampoo and conditioner. Also, some of the light switches didn't work.

I love that they have smoking rooms - those are hard to come by. And we had TWO ashtrays! That was a nice touch! The heat worked great - we were very comfy. The windows open, which is great to get some fresh air now and then. The internet worked very well - we were impressed with that. And there were a lot of TV channels to watch.

We could have used an extra blanket or two on our beds. But we made due by turning the heat up. It was pretty chilly outside. I didn't bother asking the front desk for blankets, so I really can't complain. I'm sure they would have found one for us if we had asked.

We loved the shower which was spacious and very easy to regulate the water temperature. The water was also hot right away, unlike some other places we’ve stayed where it takes forever to get warm water to the unit. The room was also spacious.

There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom where the only mirror is located. It makes it hard to do your hair that way! We had to buy a small stand mirror to use at the desk where there was an outlet.

The room was large and comfortable. The location was outside of Minneapolis but within easy reach of the city and easy access to I-94. There are stores and restaurants close to the hotel as well as a trail and nearby parks.

The wifi is sub-par. I was unable to connect with my iphone and contacted the office. The owner's son worked with the Internet company to get the issue resolved, but I was not able to remain connected with my iphone and I was not able to connect with my laptop (Windows 10) for the 2 days I stayed there.

Easy check in process, the front desk people were always available. You have tv, mini refrigerator, microwave. The bath has good amount of space, the linens were clean during my stay.

For the money I paid I would expect a better flooring area(carpet). It was uneven but not worse; probably they could renovate the flooring and shower area in the near future.

Friendliness of staff, location, value for the price per night, and clean bed sheets. I would stay here again!

The shower wasn't cleaned all the way. ( a plastic cup was left in there and hairs on the drain and wall) There wasn't an actual blanket on the bed just a sheet and decorative throw.

I liked the location near a hiking preserve, so appreciated the benefit of a healthier place to sleep. The shower facility was good. I had not customarily, stayed where a damage deposit was requested, and I appreciated the deposit being returned without delay upon checkout.

Checkin was a bit awkward. Type of WiFi offered problematic for VPN

it's a older hotel, the rooms were updated a while back so the carpet was really clean, the linens were clean, and the bed sheets were soft and comfortable. I was quite happy with my decision to stay here, everything met my expectations.

The bathroom in my room was rather small in comparison to newer hotels, and the sink space was limited at best. but everything was clean and you can tell they take great pride in preparing the room for guests.

The price is affordable, rooms feels comfortable, they felt nice to stay in.

We didn’t like the smell of cigarettes in the room. As soon as you open the door the strong smell, smells right away. Hopefully theres no smoking in the rooms in the future. Everything else was fine though.

They accommodateed the 3 of us perfectly always and our rm was in a treed setting by a path everyone was kind and friendly as we came from out of state for our Ukrainian family reunion and everytime I go back I'll stay there!!❤️😘🕊️
