Economical, responded to my needs when asked., good location.

Breakfast. Staff doesn't seem very friendly and welcoming. Could put notes on pancake maker when not working. Could out sign on decaf carafe when being used for regular. I sort of felt like I was taking what I shouldn't

The rooms were big compared to other motel/hotels in the US in the same price range. Breakfast included was good and room was clean when I arrived at a late hour. Staff was friendly and helpful so good value for the price.

I did not have a car so location is not the best if you are walking everywhere. There is a #10 bus that goes north and south on Central Ave NE every 15 minutes so there is transportation to different areas of the city. A few chain restaurants close by and more diversity of eating places farther from the hotel. Taxi to airport very expensive. And walk-in shower could be cleaned better. Not enough staff for cleaning rooms so arrangements have to be made with the front desk. That is common in many hotels/motels now.

The place is so nice now that its been remodeled. I booked a room for friends that visited for the weekend. I booked a queen room with garden view. Be mindful of a $50 damage fee upon arrival that will be refunded after checkout. Only prob we had was that:I paid online through booking.com and the lady who was there during check-in was new and accidentally charged my card for the same price I paid through booking.com instead of only charging the $50 damage fee and I had to wait 7 days for the money to be refunded.

WOW! What a welcome surprise this hotel was! Couldn't understand why it had so few stars rating?????? Bed was just right and sheets were so soft! Very clean and nice size room. Breakfast had hot cooked food that changes each day and a beautiful indoor courtyard to eat. We couldn't have asked for a better more relaxing, comfortable place to stay!

Our room was next to the side entrance and the door kept sticking and screeching every time it was used. It wouldn't go all the way shut so the security feature of needing a card to enter was not effective. It would have been nice to have had a towel bar next to the sink. When you first come in the room there is a light switch but it didn't turn a light on anywhere. The desk lamp base had something icky on it.

This hotel has a very comfortable feel to it, from the spacious inside courtyard to the clean room with great water pressure, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, a large working tv, and oversized towels that looked and felt brand new. There are lots of eating options nearby. It was also really quiet both nights we were there.

Although the property is nestled in between a Menards, Applebees and Starbucks, the area does look like an “older” area, which might give someone pause at first glance. That being said, I stayed there with my teenage daughter and neither of us felt uncomfortable at any point.

This hotel was lovely. But the breakfast was terrible. We arrived for breakfast at 8:33 am and there was nothing to be had. The attendant told us that breakfast was over at 9 and she would not put out anything. More people showed up and eventually she begrudgingly put out some yogurt. The next morning we arrived earlier for breakfast but had to ask for everything...even plates which the attendant kept stashed 8n the back room. The offerings were space but we did get some and it was good.

Woops. I put my complaints above. What I did like were the rooms. Clean and lovely.

Comfortable and clean. Our king room was very spacious. Breakfast coffee was good. And it was located close to where we needed to be. We only stayed one night, so didn’t take time to enjoy the center courtyard. Definitely has potential for group or reunion type of function.

The location was convenient for us, however being adjacent to Menards and having to drive thru their parking lot can be congested and loses some appeal.

The first night we felt unsafe walking upstairs to our room, we were followed and felt uncomfortable as the man was getting closer and closer, to where we felt like we were going to be messed with. The second night my 17 year old and her boyfriend were coming back from dinner and were approached by several people inside the hotel asking them if they wanted to by various kinds of drugs!

Staff was polite and apologized for making us wait which wasn't a big deal but appreciated the gesture. Beds were nice and soft and air conditioner worked great! Room and linen looked clean and done good. Size of room accommodated two large guys very well! Selection of breakfast items were good.

Room didn't smell freshened up, but smelled like previous smokers in the past stayed in the room and just was a musty cigarette smell they tried to maybe cover up?....
