The staff is friendly and courteous. They are very accommodating. They took the time to answer questions and the cookies, those famous cookies only found at Doubletree add to the experience. My family has chosen Doubletree Hotel, especially the Novi, Michigan location as our favorite place to stay often one to two times per year during the Motor City Comicon.

The cost for this visit. We are usually able to take advantage of more affordable prices at Doubletree, but we ended up paying more than two hundred dollars additional. In Doubletrees defense however, our booking came in the day before check-in after another establishment cancelled our reservation without notifying us that they did so (SIGH).

We LOVED it. My kids and I came for a dance competition. It was amazing to have a separate area in the room for me to get my girls ready for early morning call times. My girls have already asked if next year when we travel back to Detroit, if we can stay there.

I wish the breakfast started a little earlier and I wish the pool was open later… after a long day of competition, my girls (and others) really would have loved to stay up late and enjoy our stay.

This was the second yr in a row that we stayed here. The hotel is in a GREAT area with shops and restaurants all around u and the mall is right over the bridge. My daughter’s a cheer coach now and we will stay here every year now.

Only thing was the could hear the man in the next room yelling at his kids. Not the hotels fault but probably would be better if u can’t hear through the walls. Sidenote: I have a hearing issue and I could still hear him.

Perfect location with shops all around and 6 minutes away from the suburban center. Gwen at the front desk was super nice!!

We stayed 2 nights, the second day I asked for towels, told they’d be brought to my room right away. Never showed up, we left for dinner, still none when we got back. Left a text message asking for towels, never got a response until I was driving home. Since I didn’t get an answer went to the desk Sunday morning to request towels and the woman I believe as Sheila, was put out by me asking, but did go and get them and kinda tossed them and said here. We were very pleasant with every staff member while we were there. Still had a nice stay and we will be back

I liked being able to park close to the entry door closest to my assigned room.

having to wait until 3 pm to check in and the fact that there were two adjoining room doors in addition to the actual entry door of my room. One of which wouldn't lock from my side of the door. I feel that as a repeat visiting Double Tree customers, my family and I should receive deeper discounts on our rooms and complimentary meals.

It was a very nice location. Very quiet, even though there was a group of motorcyclists! The room was spacious and clean.

The breakfast buffet was expensive. $18.50!! The room a/c was noisy. We had an issue with our payment. I booked it through booking.com, but was not charged the booking.com price that we should have been charged. The front desk checkout person couldn't fix it when we checked out. A message was left for the person who was supposed to do it. They emailed us three receipts, but it doesn't appear that it was fixed.

I decided to have a last minute pool party for my daughter’s birthday. Although the room was very spacious and clean I was shocked to see the hotel allow a swim school to use the facilities. The kids were still able to swim but felt like they were n the way of the swim lessons. They were able to enjoy themselves still. I also loved that checkout is at 12pm. We didn’t feel rushed in the morning. We decided to do some shopping the next day and the location to the mall was amazing. Ov

I really think the hotel could use two elevators. We had a lot of things going upon check in so I needed a cart. Our room was on the second level on the opposite side of the building. The kids had to take the stairs because once the cart was inside the elevator there was little room for me to maneuver it so we all good fit. The kids of course didn’t mind the stairs. Honestly neither did I but for older patrons having to walk from one side of the building to another with luggage from the elevator maybe a lot to do.

the location, look and customer service was great.

the only thing I didn’t enjoy about the property was that the DoubleTree company didn’t plan well in my eyes for the snow storm. Our power went out and we got stuck pulling into the hotel first, then trying to turn into a parking space with a toddler was a huge challenge. The employees there that night we not snow removal nor was it was their job; but they went above and beyond to help in that situation. I wish DoubleTree next time will make sure their lot has proper salt put down and plowed.

A beautiful hotel in a great location. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very prompt and friendly. Will definitely come back.next time.

Shower cap, dental kit and water bottles were not provided in the room. Had to ask for these items.

We were out for the day and upon our return we found that our bed had been made and fresh linens were placed in the bathroom. The front desk staff also responded immediately to a plumbing issue that was able to be resolved with no further issues.

That our stay was only two nights.
