Room was clean and inviting. Bed was super comfortable.

The man at the front desk was rude upon arrival. My boyfriend and I arrived around 10:30pm, and I assume the front desk clerk was supposed to get off before we arrived. We waited to be called upon, and the gentleman invited us to the counter, stating "I guess I can take you... I'll never get home." Upon me paying for the room, he loudly stated that because I was using a pre-loaded debit card, I would have to wait 30 days for my security deposit to be returned to me. As a customer service worker myself, I felt there could've been more soft-skills utilized at that time, especially considering my initial interaction with the clerk was that he was annoyed we wanted to be checked-in. This made my initial encounter at the hotel very displeasing, but I did enjoy my overall stay.

The breakfast was really good and i enjoyed the food service, it was worth it. Just make sure to get a room that includes breakfast and save yourself some stress and extra bucks. PS: The weekend server "David" was very kind and thoughtful and supportive.

Personally, based on my recent visit, i thought the location is a little outskirts of town. You'd have to drive to maybe Columbia, Silver spring or Washington to get a good city experience but otherwise, top-notch.

The property was nice and clean. The staff very friendly.

The keycard mostly didn’t work properly.I had the card exchanged twice and even then was never sure I would get back in my room. I always had to swipe multiple times even with the last new card.

The breakfast was very good also the dinner we got there on our arrival to the hotel. It was very good customer service the time we walk in the door, we Dwayne and Dennis,Tony also Will we had a very good time Sunday night at the bar.

Will, the very personable and talented chef, prepared and served us the most palatably delicious omelet for breakfast, in the fresh and brightly appointed dining room. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and Covid safety policies were in place throughout the hotel. The manager and staff were very conscientious and genuinely hospitable, and allowed us to have an early check-in time. Holiday Inn in Jessup, MD is conveniently located just off Interstate 95, with Columbia and Baltimore near-by. We look forward to staying with them again in January 2021.

The newer hygiene remote control for the TV was noticeably slow to respond to commands.

Will greeted us at breakfast with the warmest of welcomes and personally prepared and served wonderful omelets following our individual requests! Great location, right off Interstate 95 in Jessup, minutes from Columbia, MD and Baltimore MD.

When Covid restrictions are lifted and HDI can reopen their lovely restaurant full time will definitely be a plus!!!
