Sonesta ES Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista

Location was a plus; shopping and eateries in walking distance. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I liked the fact that the kitchen was stocked with enough pots, dishes and silverware.

I didn't like the fact that I had to pay $15 per night to park on their property. The brown paper bag breakfast with a muffin, juice and fruit was not to my liking...please do better. Also, the room had a weird smell when I walked in. Smells like bleach mixed with a musty odor.

The rooms were very clean, I requested a ground floor room due to my disabilities, and they were able to accommodate me. The rooms are very spacious, and I love having a full kitchen--if not just for a freezer. The beds are very firm, but that's what my body craves after a long day in the parks. The location is great! You can get to any of the Disney parks in under 15 minutes. The staff is very friendly. It's never a problem for them to replace towels or coffee, etc. at the front desk (though it's awkward for me to carry towels into the lobby).

This establishment changed significantly during the COVID crisis, but it hasn't returned to the status quo--and probably never will. Because of COVID, breakfast was terminated, daily housekeeping stopped, and a nightly parking fee was introduced when Disney introduced the same at their resorts. Even now, the parking fee remains--even after Disney discontinued theirs, housekeeping has turned into replacement of towels every other day, and you have to purchase an over-priced breakfast or get out into the local area. All in all, I still enjoyed my stay--and I look forward to returning again.

it’s 10 mins from Magic Kingdom. very clean and comfortable. Room was perfect size for my family of 7. 4 adults and 3 kids. I recommend this place. Staff was very friendly.

Staff should have told us that the first number of our room was the building number. Room number was 1333. so we thought it was building 13 on third floor when it was building 1 on third floor.

What was not to love about this property...it was fantastic! The amenities and location were perfect! The room was more than we ever could’ve hoped for and the full kitchen was fabulous! I think we used almost everything that the property had to offer. The pool was huge and warm every time. Offering pool towels so we didn’t have to use our bath towels was great! We also used the laundry facilities that worked perfectly! I think having our own ice maker in the fridge was great, I was wondering how that was going to work especially during the pandemic. They took every measure to make sure us and their staff was safe.

Property is clean! Security walks around checking the property daily. Comfy beds. All dishes included in the kitchen, along with paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent and pot holders. Pool is very nice. Quiet and relaxing property. Lots of things to do in walking distance, including grocery store. We will be back!

The wheelchair accessible room needed shower and toilet handrails in BOTH restrooms. No stove. Would not recommend the shuttle service offered through the hotel (3rd party service). They do not allow handicap persons to "ride" onto the bus. They must walk up the handicap ramp and and PUSH their electric chair. This service left us stranded at a theme park.

Nice size rooms, perfect location. A/C was amazing

People openly smoking marijuana at the pool, on the steps, on the balconies. Drinking Liquor at the pool, vulgar music playing, all while small children are present

Everything was perfect the hotel space was amazing perfect area front desk agent made everything smooth made me feel like I was at a home away from home. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well

Paying for parking every night at a hotel I’m staying at makes no sense

Great staff, very accommodating. Couldn't find a fault among them...very conscious of the guest experience. A+ people!! Even with the above negative comment...I would definitely return to this property in the future. This type of bad behavior by guests is happening all too frequently throughout the area. There is a designated smoking area on site...smokers think that if you don't see the blue haze in atmosphere, they are not offending anyone!

A group of 3 men smoking and drinking on the balcony. They appeared to be contractors spending the night after working off site. They deserve to wind down, bit not exactly a family friendly event. To be fair...I elected NOT to bring this concern to the attention of the front desk. They were relatively benign so I decided to let it go. The fact that there is a $15.00 per day parking fee was not completely clear when I booked. All I remember seeing was "self-parking" available, but the room rate was quite reasonable. No "resort-fee"... you need to watch for that anywhere you stay in Florida.

Parking was $15/night. There were no elevators to get to 2nd or 3rd floor. No housekeeping until after 7-8 days

The hotel was great the location and room were great it’s like a little apartment so if you’re traveling with the kids you can have parent time. But if you’re disabled beware this hotel has no elevator. So make sure if you need it to check with the property to make sure you get a ground floor room. They made sure we had a ground floor when they saw I used a cane which was super nice because I had no idea they had no elevator. And by the way it is a 4 story motel.
