Location was PERFECT. Parking was close by and reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the bed was super comfy. It was nice that they had a smart TV for the end of the night and they had free loaner beach towels. The elevator was charming and the A/C worked very well. Honestly, I was shocked by how good this hotel was given the price and location.
The only usable outlet was behind the bed, so I had to move the bed and unplug a lamp to use it. But it's a super old hotel that had maintained its retro integrity, so who cares?

The front desk guy was VERY helpful. He saw that I was on a knee scooter and told me about the time when he broke his ankle. He helped me on & off the elevator, made sure that I didn't need anything, and even checked in with me to see if I needed anything before his shift ended. I don't remember his name, but he definitely deserves "Employee of the Year." No one else at the hotel offered help. The only bad complaint was a couple on our floor was fighting in the hallway at 2am but the front desk was aware and handled the situation.
Restaurant/bar wasn't open. We had to go elsewhere for food.

Great localization - if you are going to Miami Ocean drive is best. And if you are going to stay at Ocean Drive why not at one of the most iconic hotels there! Staff was also very helpful ans kind (all of them but Chis was really very helpful and nice to talk to in general).
Not that quiet AC system (but I find this common all over FL hotels) At the time we were there was no option for breakfast - they were preparing to open Tony Montana restaurant soon after - I wish to go back someday to see it finished - I think it will be amazing and adding to the experience.

atmosphere was great and so was the location and Claudio and Wes at the front desk were friendly and with good humour There is asupervised indoor parking garage just around the corner (2 minute walk) for $20 a night.
There is no onsite parking and the area infront of the hotel was not designated as a drop off area and is a marked tow away zone . Although we were told not to worry there, are stories of cars getting towed . So one of us stayed with the car while unloading language.

My husband and I had an amazing time at the Colony! We were provided a free bottle of water upon check in, which was amazing after a walk along the beach! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and so comfortable. The atmosphere and decor was so unique and beautiful! We would definitely come back!
I honestly can’t think of any complaints! If you are considering staying, Do it! The pictures do it no justice on just how perfect your stay will be.

The iconic Colony Hotel. Not much to say, we expected what we paid for and got we have expected. The place is located at the heart of Miami beach and many other popular places. The room was clean and nicely decorated. It has everything you need for a short stay. The staff is super helpful and nice people. They were friendly enough to help us with nice local recommendations.
The AC may be noisy but this not hotel’s problem but the technology.

first of all location was perfect. Rooms were clean, renovated and nicely equipped for the price I paid. hotel staff was very nice and very helpful. All of all excellent experience. another thing I was very happy about was a fact that it is historical estate and had it historical vibes. beautiful Art Deco hotel.
it’s not that I didn’t like it but hotel guests were not shy about smoking weed in their rooms so almost whole hotel smelled like marihuana. If you don’t mind it then there’s no issue but if it bothers you then you might think again about getting a room anywhere around Ocean Dr. Not a great location for families with kids.

Location, staff, and value was amazing!! Alex at front desk was so kind and helpful, and Carol from the housekeeping staff was AMAZING! Every time we walked in and out of the hotel we were greeted with a smile. Being across from the beach was everything.
There wasn’t anything I disliked, but if I’m being nit picky I can say is that there wasn’t a dead bolt or chain lock on the inside of the room, and no drawers for clothes.

The front desk reps were very friendly and accommodating and the location and value was excellent. We had a blast in Miami and I can't wait to go back!
The really bad thing is that due to "Covid" they didn't have housekeeping available during our 4 night stay. We were trying to keep the room clean as much as we could, but it was impossible as you're staying right in front of the beach, which means sand everywhere! Also, the hotel its under remodeling, so the only option is for you to stay at the moment is the first floor. Other than that everything was good.
