Really great hotel. Beautifully decorated in the lobby, room, pool etc. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great happy hour twice a day in the bar + pool. Good location as you're not right in the middle of the busy area but close enough to walk there in a minute. Beach 30 seconds walk. Discounted self parking one block away.

Only small down points; we had breakfast by the pool one day and it was very slow & arrived luke warm. The walls in the room are fairly thin as we heard EVERYTHING our neighbours were up to, but they were particularly noisy + inconsiderate which is not the hotels fault but worth considering if you're a light sleeper. Would definitely stay again!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have a nice pool on the roof of the hotel with a rooftop bar. The gym is compared to what you normally find in hotels also okay. Serves its purpose. The location is great. Close to the beach, muscle beach and many restaurants nearby. The concierge gave us recommendations and we were not disappointed. The lobby is very nice and decorated in Art-Deco style. They offer beach chairs and towels provided by one of the rentals at the beach. That’s good service because it saves you 40 Dollars. Our room was not in the part of the building which located at Collins Avenue. Our room was in the building corner 8th and Ocean Drive. This was no problem in our case, we stayed from Sunday-Friday. This means it was not too noisy from the clubs and restaurants on Ocean Drive. On weekends this might be different. I am quite sure you can hear the music from the surrounding entertainment places. This should be considered when booking.

Since we didn’t stay on a Friday or Saturday night, no complaints. The above mentioned point about the location of the room might have lead to problems on a Party-weekend. For those who just want to have a look at Ocean Drive and Not Party all night long, I recommend to stay in a hotel further north on the beach.

We were in an annex around the corner. The entrance had steps which were used by a group of local men as somewhere to gather & chat. Each time we entered/exited the building we had to walk through them - they didn’t move. No one manned this building. A little intimidating. Room beautiful and spacious but constant loud hum (not air con in room) throughout the stay - earplugs provided on bedside table implying this is a know ‘problem’ for this room?

Great hotel! Helpful and friendly staff. Complimentary entrance to Wynwood Walls which saved us some bucks and also beach chairs and towels in the price of the room - AMAZING value for your money. The room was clean (housekeeping daily), quiet and spacious, with plenty of place to store clothes and items. The bed was comfortable. Good WiFi - we didn't try video-calls, but for movies/youtube there was good connection. Good AC. Ice machine easily accessible with ice bucket in the room! Clean and comfortable rooftop pool area (we've been to plenty of hotels with pools, this pool was really well maintained). The pool is small, so don't expect much swimming, but it's good if you want to cool yourself after a while on the rooftop. Also there was a comfortable gym room with anything you need for your workout. We loved the art-deco vibe of the hotel, the feel was vintage but everything was very well maintained (I learned that there was some renovation done not long ago - great job not killing the historical feel of the interiors while keeping everything very much up to date). HIGHLY recommend.

50 USD per night for incidentals - quite a lot of money put on hold if you stay a few days.

Great hotel, David was so helpful when we arrived with the car/cases as were TJ and Domingo during our stay. Room functional and clean, loved the bathroom. The breakfasts were nice and the outdoor dining lovely. Location couldn’t be better, would stay again.

The pool area, due to a history of skin cancer I required an umbrella. At 1pm on Sunday the left hand beds/umbrellas (5-6) were empty and reserved, there were no other available umbrellas so we could not use the pool area! It is silly that they were empty the whole morning - there was no mention of having to reserve beds/umbrellas.

The Tony Hotel was the perfect home away from home for the weekend! The location was better than ideal! It was 30 seconds away from the main strip and the beach. The happy hour was a great way to eat good, but not spend an arm and a leg. The view from the 4th floor pool and bar was beautiful to see the ocean and the sunset. The hotel also provided free chairs and towels for the beach as well as access to the Wynwood Wall Museum (probably saved us $100). Most importantly, the staff was one of a kind! Easy going, kind, supportive and fun. I would 10/10 recommend The Tony hotel!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tony Hotel, and I cannot express how happy I am with my visit. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, the warm welcome and exceptional service provided by David and Joseph made all the difference. David, with his cheerful demeanor, always went the extra mile to assist with my luggage and provided invaluable recommendations for local restaurants. His genuine hospitality and helpfulness created a delightful atmosphere throughout my stay. Additionally, Joseph from the reception proved to be an invaluable asset. Location was good. Main hotel back 1 street from Ocean Drive, but our room was in another building located closer to Ocean Drive so there was a little more noise late at night from Wet Willies.

The location is excellent of course and it is a wonderful art deco hotel. The rooms are dated, which is the point - you feel like you are staying in a historical building. It was clean but worn around the edges in the rooms. It was really quite fun, but I did expect a little more luxury. The pool area is really lovely - but the pool (like all pools in this section of South Beach) is tiny. It was a great spot to relax though, and a great happy hour happens every day. The staff was lovely and very helpful too. I would recommend staying here - also because it's in the heart of South Beach but not on Ocean Drive - and thus, quieter!

I feel (like all hotels) the photos made this property look more luxurious than it is. However, I still really loved my stay, and would recommend it overall. It was lovely!
