I did a layover in lauderdale on Independance day before taking my 4 year old grandson back home to Arizona. The location was very convenient and close to alot of stores and restaurants. The environment was very clean comfortable quiet and enjoyable.The staff was all smiles and very helpful. The hotel overlooks a beautiful lake and even though i was not assigned to one of those rooms my grandson and i still took advantage of it by feeding the fishes and watching the ducks swim and walk on the property. The free shuttle round trip to and from lauderdale airport which was only less than 10 mins away was also convenient. And ooooh the breakfast was delicious 😋

The only downside was that the shuttle had alot of strange looking bugs crawling around.. they started crawling on us as the bus driver took us back to the airport

The weather was threatening tornados. We needed to adjust our plans. We were offered the option of a later check out, but opted to sit in the lobby and read. We appreciated the friendliness of the staff.

The breakfast was adequate but lacked variety due to pandemic protocol. The coffee was good.

Nice location near water with a refreshing pool and beautiful view. A 10-15 min walk takes you to a shopping area with lots of stores and restaurants. There is an airport shuttle driver Pete that dropped us off at the shopping area when we asked for directions. We had a late flight after our cruise and Pete was again helpful in getting our luggage stored for us so we could spend the morning shopping and relaxing.

The property is showing its age and could use some updating. We did have to get the cleaning lady down the hall to come to our room and wipe down greasy fingerprints that were on the inside of the door.

The property was in a great location! Beautiful courtyard with over looking pond. Great Location shopping center food about a 5-10 minute walk depending what you wanted. we walked and ate at the Ale house, our go to when where are in Hollywood. we stayed pre-cruise and have done so before at this hotel! so been very happy with our stay. They picked us up from the Airport. They do offer shuttle to the cruise ports! we didn’t use there’s we went with SAS shuttle service. but nice to know they have that option again.

The elevator was pretty slow.

The waffles were make yourself and great. Quite location not near a freeway. Quick Uber over to shopping center under $10, last minute shopping.

Elevator, slow and stuck on more than one trip up. Not enough elevators for hotel, elevator shared with laundry and workers. They are on the smallish size. Check out and getting down with luggage was really slow. Disregard for do not disturb sign on door, employee attempted to just open my door without knocking. I had the secondary lock on. This happened twice in 2 days.

Room was large and comfortable and the bedding was great. Breakfast met our needs. Pickup service at the airport was wonderful. Very nice young man, made us feel welcome. Check in was no problem.

Cost of room was high, feel sure due to amount of ships leaving port. Restaurants were at least a 10 to 15 minute walk on dark road. Tried to order food in, but there was over 1 hour plus wait at the two restaurants I called. We got frozen dinners from pantry, I understand they are there for convenience, but to charge over double the price they cost in a grocery store is not customer friendly.

Excellent breakfast - lots of choices. Hot food included. Pretty site, by a small lake. Good place to rest after a late flight. Reception quickly changed our room when a bedside light switch didn't work (1am checkin!). Busy hotel - lots of cruise guests. But quiet.

This isn't a "destination hotel" (no facilities or nearby retailers) - just a good offsite airport hotel. Shuttles to FLL or to the cruise terminals have to be booked and there's a charge. Cheaper for a group to order a taxi. But of course convenient to have a shuttle.

according with the current status of America and the world is a nice spot and good value for money

The staff as many officers in tourism places in the area are empty soul people NO :polite,smiling and courteous staff, they looks like robots ,it would be better to put in place a robot or computer same behavior less expensive. breakfast is ok nor natural neither so organic cause it cost a lot and actually many people don't know what I talking about until they got cancer... it would be possible to choice a room with lake view

Clean, everything in room working properly, good breakfast (should add a few more items & waffle maker!)… Conveniently located (plenty of places to eat & shop), pleasant & helpful staff, plenty of free parking, friendly lady in charge of replenishing toiletries & towels & bed linens, nice size room, micro/mini-fridge very cold & coffee maker with great coffee grounds, pleasantly cold & quiet ac!

Breakfast should include more items & bring back waffle maker, ran out of muffins quite early in breakfast a couple hours before it was over (have @ hand enough to replenish)!!!

I liked the fact of the Continental Breakfast 🥞🍳, and the Pool, Jacuzzi and the Amenities that came along with my room, (Fridge, Microwave, Coffee Machine, etc !

What could have been better was there was no accommodations for Breakfast for People who don't eat Pork , other than Nasty Planet Based Which was Disgusting! And no one came to change our towels or beds the whole time we was there!
