Modern hotel yet warm vibe. Friendly staff, room was beautiful, rooftop pool with view was amazing, outdoor chess and multiple seating areas, free newspapers, gratis bottled water in room, all exceeded expectations.

Hated...hated the glass bathroom door. You could hear the urinating (and more); always worried someone could walk in or see. I usually leave bathroom light on with door shut for nightlight but couldn't as it lit up entire room. Breakfast and breakfast service was terrible. Couldn't understand her English, she could barely understand English, no orange juice and didn't replenish when asked, very unorganized, one container of milk left but no straw to drink it. Worst hotel breakfast experience ever, honestly.

Great location, friendly staff

I was charged for breakfast they offer, which I didn't like, we thought it was complimentary when the lady asked if we purchased the breakfast I told her not sure if it was included with our room, so she looked it up before we had went over to the good, I told her that if we didn't have it I don't want it as it wasn't worth the 16.00 each person, she turned around and said no, you guys are good, thinking she meant it was included, nope it got charged to my room, 43.00 with the tax ..

I am a person who pays for convenience, and the valet service at the AC Hotel was something I didn't know I needed. I traveled with girlfriends, and having the valet park was a plus. In addition, the hotel was clean and beautiful, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was easy to check in and check out. Although there is construction going on in the area, once you're in the hotel, that scenery fades away. Packages are delivered directly to your room. There are a variety of stores within walking distance.

The lack of housekeeping services. If we called to request an item, it was delivered, but housekeeping should be done daily or every other day.

The property is immaculate! Modern, new, it even smells great, lol! People at the front desk were very friendly. Pool was gorgeous and clean. Parking garage was under the hotel so it was easily accessible.

Honestly, no negatives. If I had to be super-picky: there was no restaurant open mid-day on campus. They offered breakfast and then their restaurant opened at 5. If you were hungry during the day, you could go next door to the Marriott. It was RIGHT next door though, so it really was no big deal.

Pristinely clean, modern and large room. Also large bathroom and terrific shower. The hotel is the sister property of the higher grade Marriott next door (they share a pool). I have a hard time imagining what could possibly be better at the Marriott. Also nice array of restaurants and shops next door at Dania Pointe. (I highly recommend Padrino's, a local family-run chain of Cuban restaurants). The AC Hotel is a great choice if you need to be at the Fort Lauderdale airport. As for the airport experience, that's an entirely different question : )

Brand new so it was very clean. The location is awesome because you are right next to a nice newly built shopping plaza.

Everything was great, only minor complaint would be the breakfast situation was confusing. I was told by the front desk that breakfast was served $15 per person, I came downstairs to eat at what I assumed would be a restaurant style breakfast. When I asked the “waitress” or (not sure her job title) how we could be seated and possibly order something, she wasn’t very nice and pointed to a table with food on it and said there was no menu. I was confused by that but said “oh okay no problem” I decided to check out the “Buffet” and it was just some small pastries, boiled eggs, cereal and cheeses. There was no real breakfast, that was disappointing. Maybe I mis-understood, but we went somewhere else to eat.

We had a one night layover after coming a cruise, and needing to fly out the next day. Our room wasn’t ready but they held our bags and had a nice comfortable lounge area as well as amazing coffee. (The ships coffee was not great). Also, within walking distance has a ton of shopping and restaurants while we waited too. The pool area was very nice, and the workout facility was top notch. I was very impressed by everything the hotel offered as well as the friendliness off the all the staff! We will definitely stay here again!

The front desk staff was wonderful, the hotel new and clean. The bar staff/man was also kind, professional, and helpful.

Even though our breakfast was included, they refused to let me take some food up to my wife in the room who was not feeling well. I was told, fairly briskly, either she could come down or order from the room service menu at full price. I wasn't trying to take a massive tray of food, just some eggs, toast, and coffee. Nope. Stupid and unnecessary way to annoy your guests.

Everything was great and the convenience of being able to go between both the AC Hotel and the Marriott made it easy to grab a late night meal after driving up from Key West to fly out the next day! Also, very close to the Ft. Lauderdale Airport! :)

Only two complaints, one, getting into each hotel for the amenities was not that easy, we kept going through the parking garage, and two, there was an early morning fire alarm, but the staff was on top of it!

very clean and the hotel smelled so good! i appreciated the lavender that was in the lobby in the evenings to help with falling asleep. the staff was very attentive.

snacks were very expensive, and the valet was honestly a pain. we had to wait for at least 10-20 minutes for our car in the evenings due to only having one person working during that time. he really did the best he could given the circumstances. the morning was the busiest, and this was annoying because we would text the valet, before heading downstairs and we would still have to request our car when we got downstairs. my pillows were dirty in the room, upon check in also.
