Mitch at the front desk was super helpful at all times. The pool was quiet and clean, it could have done with more lounge chairs, but as it wasn't busy, it wasn't a problem after all. The room had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable! The location is amazing, closeby to 7/11, bus stops and only 10 mins walk from the beach.
The maids were lovely however it was always a guess about the work they had done everyday. It wasn't consistent. They said they'd have changed the bed sheets but they never did. The drinks from the vending machine were ridiculously expensive! But all this was very minor to me, I would definitely be back overall.

Location is the best. Hotel staff, especially the front lady, were very friendly, attentive and helpful. I'm not sure all those bad, old,p reviews but the room we stayed in 3rd floor with cal king bed was very big and everything was quite brand new and clean. The furnitures, bathroom, sink, toilet, shower were very clean and new. Paints, floors seemed new. No bugs or ants that others mentioned at all. Big TV, big refrigerator and microwave were useful. Towels are clean, seems new and smelled very good. AC/heating unit was new. Cleaning crews were everywhere constantly cleaning so if needed anything, they were there. Due to some, all old bad reviews, we only booked 1 night just to see how it was and when we liked the place and the location, we canceled other more expensive hotel up the street and booked the rest of the days here. Prices is very good for this expensive area. Walked everywhere and also took metro to go around. Will definitely rebook this place when in town. No noise, very quiet place.

Just north of Torrance Blvd, which takes you to the Pier. Friendly and responsive service. They served my needs calmly in the midst of handling an unruly guest. The location and price make it the perfect base of operations for an economical business trip or a Redondo Beach getaway in which it's Redondo Beach you want to see and not a fancy lobby.
I was hoping for a jacuzzi in the pool area but they don't have that. The property is soundly kept but aging. Vending machine water is expensive, so don't forget to stop by 7-11 on the way in.

The Wi-Fi was hard to connect first day. Called number for help. What a joke. I went to office to complain the gentleman was helpful but anytime we wanted to go on line we had to go thru hoops. Pain in the butt. Pool was cold but weather wasn’t warm either

We had the honeymoon suite with spa. It is a very large room which would be great for a a party of Swingers. Jacuzzi Bath and shower. Large living room. 2 large TV’s.
The colors are ugly, and the lighting of the room is way too bright. It is a bit sterile. I brought my own lights and decorated it myself to create the warmth I wanted. It was also right by the street with traffic and you don’t get a feeling of privacy. In addition, there are people staying there who are apparently ongoing residents so you don’t get the feeling of being on vacation but rather as though you are intruding on their property when in fact you are a paying guest as are they but they have resided there so long I sensed they didn’t like us intruding.

Large room. TV available, though no apparent way to access Netflix. Fridge and microwave were in each room. Friendly staff available to answer questions even really late at night.
Felt like it was missing a dresser below the TV, but wasn't staying long enough to really need one anyways. Sheets and mattress could be a little softer, but overall decent for just a few nights.

On busy street. Sirens going by all the time. Noisy guests, hung outside of hotel. Old sliding glass door, not double insulated did not supress outside noise.
