Ingleside Estate Hotel & Bungalows- Adults Only0

Ingleside Inn provided us with a wonderful experience! We were able to check in early, had a large open room with a wonderful private patio and the amenities (pool, complimentary bicycles,...) were a great plus! We had Thanksgiving dinner at Melvyn's and it was superb. All breakfast and pool side snacks I believe are also coming from Melvyn's which did not once disappoint in our 3 day stay!

Given that we went for Thanksgiving, my impression is that they were a little light on staff when it came to breakfast and pool side food/drinks, which took a long time. However, everyone was always very polite and eager to make up. I do think the $100 fee for bringing a dog is a little bit too much. The website states it comes with dog bowl(s), a bed, blankets and a snack, but we had to ask for all of that ourselves. I would suggest the property would prepare that in the room for future guests (if they communicate up front, like we did)

Nice room (although it was a bit dark) w/ small patio. We also liked the pool & the estate in general.

Melvyn's Restauarnt. We were told that we would still be served by the time we arrived. After the bar tender kept ignoring us and preferred talking to other guests, he told us we were too late by the time was done talking and no food would be served anymore. He & the receptionist at Melvyn's were quite unfriendly too.

The property was gorgeous, the room was very tastefully decorated, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool area with grass is nice, and I love that they are dog friendly, we brought our pup along for the trip. AC worked well the entire time, which helped during the 90-100 degree heat. All of the staff were taking proper precautions for Covid-19, and we felt safe while we were there. The other guests were respectful and following the Covid-19 mandates as well. Location is great, just south and off of the main strip of Palm Springs. Definitely beats staying at a large chain hotel - we really enjoyed the quiet elegance of Ingleside Inn. Thanks, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in the desert!

Due to Covid-19, the restaurant on the property was closed during our stay, so you must go offsite for each meal. However, they did offer poolside cold snacks and drinks during the late mornings and afternoons! We also felt the charge for a dog was a bit steep at $100 for the whole stay. For those staying longer than two nights, it isn't bad, but if you're only staying one or two nights, it significantly adds to the cost of the trip.

Ingleside Inn was exactly as we expected. Very Chill, old school elegance. The rooms are very comfortable considering the age of the facility. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, great service.

We booked the resort as an 'adult only' hotel, as advertised on the website. Unfortunately, there were 3-4 families during half our trip. We love kids but were expecting peace and quiet. It's wrong for hotels to charge for water in rooms.

Staff were very kind and accommodating, the property is beautiful and well maintained. The pool area was our favorite spot to just sit and watch the hummingbirds and bunnies go by. Cocktails were delicious (although pricey, but to be expected at a hotel). The bed in our room was comfortable and wifi worked well (my husband took a few work video calls and had no issues).

The only drawback was the noise in our room. The property is quiet but we stayed in Room 7 which has an adjoining room and sound really carries through the door that connects the rooms. We could hear our neighbors conversations any time we were both in our rooms. Not a deal breaker, but noticeable.

Best location, like a private oasis! The grounds and pool are lovely and we really enjoyed use of the bikes and the proximity to all the best neighborhoods and downtown. The staff were all so friendly, and Tony and Tim treated us like we were old friends or family! They really give special attention and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come back.

The room was gorgeous, beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. We had a charming patio area that was just perfect to enjoy the sun and the stars.

Our only disappointment was the poolside service. While we suspect this was because of COVID restrictions, the poolside beverage service (as well as general attention to restocking towels, cleaning chairs with old/dirty towels) was substandard. While we were able to flag a staff member to provide a pool menu, we waited over 45 minutes for his return and thus, ended up bringing our own beverages poolside from our room.

Lovely inn. Gentleman at the desk was very helpful with clarifying a charge and giving us information on getting to Joshua tree national park and other destinations . Pool was lovely and our room was clean, good size with a great patio with loungers. Walkable to the main strip.

Loved the location, it's on the outskirts of town which made it a quiet getaway. The room decor was extremely beautiful and instantly relaxing. The bed was super comfortable, clean and cozy. We enjoyed Melvin's at night with the jazz music and great cocktails, it was a great perk that it was open to guests only because it was not overcrowded. Due to covid we did not end up ordering food in the lounge because it was all indoors. The pool area and service were wonderful, we could have stayed there for weeks! We also rented the bikes they had available, this was a great amenity to stroll around the back streets. Lastly, the customer service was fabulous, Hannah was a delight!

The images on the website are a little misleading. We were under the impression that the Deluxe king room would have had a door to a private patio, this was not the case. The room was sandwiched between a mirrored room that was easy to hear the people staying next door and the opposite side had one window that looked into someone's private patio. The bathroom was smaller than expected, you have to move to one side to open the door while inside.

Lovely property, great location, service people from valet to waiters to housekeeping was top notch. Customer service the best. The rooms need a refresh- but were charming. The grounds were so beautiful- highly recommend.

Rooms a bit dark and could be updated for more storage, better lighting, perhaps brighter pops of color with the soft furnishings. Better use of space. Replacement or change of storage closets would be good.
