Great location. Amazing facilities and local history. Hidden Gen. Very attentive staff, from the hotel receptionist and lockers room, to the barista (at the Pool cafe) and gym trainers. For those oriented to fitx, that's the place to stay, you will have no excuse not to exercise. Bed is extremely comfortable and my back is very picky for mattress comfort.

Two things didn't go well: 1. two out of five nights - my neighbor rooms were noise and I could hear their conversation late night. (maybe having connecting doors, the sound proof isn't great) 2. They offer Robes for guests to use in their facilities, I wanted to purchase one to take home to Australia and they were out of stock.

great classic style and very comfortable, staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant especially the guy in reception ( should have got his name) unfortunately like the rest of LA the street scene is not very nice with many homeless and drug addicts everywhere. As a result we won’t be revisiting.

The street scene is not very nice with many homeless and drug addicts everywhere. we traveled on the Metro down to Hollywood and were shocked to find that was just as bad as the downtown area. The Transit system feels very intimidating and threatening with drug addicts in groups on the platforms and on the trains, the smell was disgusting! As a result we won’t be revisiting.

Fantastic location in the heart of Los Angeles, just steps away from Pershing Square, the metro, and a few minutes walk from Grand Central Market and the Bradbury Building. The room was quite comfortable and tidy. We especially liked the rooftop views of downtown. As an owner of an EV, I was also happy to see they had charger locations.

The bathroom was a little small and outdated. I would definitely have more fans in the room. Parking was also a little expensive.

The facilities are great, beautiful pool and a coffee corner (where you can also get freshly made granola, fruit salad, yoghurt, salads etc.), big basketball court and gym. The restaurant and lounge area is impressive and overall the hotel feels very grand and we loved the old fashioned style. Kind staff.

The downsides are the outdated rooms / bathrooms, lack of double glass and impossible parking (they do offer valet at extra costs). If you actively use all facilities this is a good pick, if not the value for money for the room isn’t great (although everything LA is very expensive).

Good rooms and outstanding facilities if you like sport and old fashioned atmosphere

I had the most awkward and disappointing check in experience of my traveling life. I arrived late at night (it was around 130 am), after informing via message, and no one was there. The person in charge happened to be outside for a taco (!) and security was the only one present trying to do their best. I waited for more than an hour in the lobby and the guy didn't even apologize. Nothing was given as a gesture of repair. Ah, and last but not least, when I got to my room key wasn't working.

The front desk staff was exceptional. I wish I remembered her name, but the staff who checked us in was really friendly and professional. She went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Parking was great, the room was beautiful, everything was nice and clean. The best part was the athletic facilities of course, which I took advantage of the morning after our one night stay. The pool was beautiful, and there are so many weight training and cardio machines. I didn't use any of the other studios, ball courts or thr plethora of other activities available, but the standard gym equipment I used is well kept and plentiful to say the least. This is probably my new favorite hotel in the downtown area for next time we catch a show at the microsoft theater.

It's a bit pricey, but you really do get great value for your money, especially if you take advantage of at least some of the facilities on site.

Beautiful building with lots of sporting memorabilia everywhere! The bar area was very relaxing at the end of a busy day and staff lovely! The parking was great, 30 dollars not too bad and we could come and go within the day. Lovely views from rooftop

Outside very noisy at night, nothing hotel could do about that! After first 2 nights we were able to block it out (or were too tired!)

The complimentary breakfast items were nice and so were the amenities

This was my first time at this hotel. There was an incident where I was unfortunate enough to encounter a very rude housekeeping supervisor who was not at all very professional despite the prestige of the establishment. My one advice is to avoid interacting or requesting anything from the housekeepers as this is sure to draw unwanted attention. If you need accommodations or have a question then you are better off dialing the front desk.

Loved the location (close to Whole Foods Market and Grand Central Market food court), friendly and helpful staff, unique design, and luxurious furniture. We have been offered a free upgrade and stayed in a fantastic suite. Loved the sports facilities, the incredibly broad selection of activities available on-site. Parking on-site is also available at $20/day.

The complimentary breakfast is very small. No amenities in the kitchen - there was not even a mug or spoon besides of paper cup.

Room was very comfortable Bar and restaurant are nice the live music in the evenings was wonderful The location was very convenient for my work but, the scene on the street can be disturbing. but, hotel felt safe Beautiful vintage ambiance

The plumbing is old and bit slow. Bathrooms are clean but a bit dated this area of LA is not charming If you are staying for business it's fine but, not a place to enjoy walking around
