Hampton Inn & Suites Irvine/Orange County Airport

Everything except the rude person at the front desk. He should not be working there if he hates it so much.

My reservation was for the (King Room with Sofa Bed) 448 feet. I was given a tiny room! I mentioned to the front desk and showed him my room confirmation. He was very RUDE, then told me if I booked with them I would have gotten the room instead of booking.com... This is the second time I've booked at this exact location with a confirmation of the king with sofa and was given the smallest room! If it happens again in June, I'll be calling the CEO personally about this issue of being treated like this with the rude front desk!

The breakfast was great! The size of the rooms was surprising and fit us comfortably. There was a large bathroom in the first room and both were handicap accessible. The location was central to every place that we needed to visit. The air conditioning was awesome.

The pool was a postage stamp and very disappointing and there was no jacuzzi. The couch pullout mattress was not even remotely comfortable. We had to pay for parking after having to pay a large amount for 2 rooms.

Location was excellent for or needs. Located in a good part of town. Very nice breakfast.

Resented having to pay extra for parking. The room itself looked very clean but the carpet was filthy! I forgot my slippers so walked around the room in a pair of white socks after my shower. I could not believe the filth that rubbed off on the socks; completely black. I threw them out rather than pack them to take home and wash. That is not indicative of the Hilton name.

The hotel appeared to be new and the furnishings new and fresh. It was exceptionally pristine and i observe things like odor and dirt in the corners of the bathrooms and stains on the carpets. The entire facility was immaculate. There were numerous options available for breakfast and the breakfast staff kept everything neat and well stocked. They made it a point to greet and interact with the guests ... even the children. They did a great job!

The smoking area could use a trash can. The smokers were incredibly inconsiderate and left cups, cans, bottles, trash and their cigarette butts strewn all over the place. It didn't give the front entrance a good impression.

Rooms were really clean. Comfortable bed, great shower. Hotel was busy, but amazingly quiet at night. Friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choices of both hot and cold, fresh fruit, easy to find gluten-free and dairy-free options. Airport shuttle was a great service. Only 5 min away from John Wayne Airport.

Wish there was a restaurant on site or more eating options within walking distance.

The hotel staff, from check in to breakfast crew were exceptional. The front desk and manager were very helpful when I had to add an unexpected guest to my stay. I can't thank them enough! The breakfast was great as well! This was the best Hampton Inn and Suites I have stayed at in years! it is now a new favorite when traveling to this area.

Parking was expensive and not enough spaces. I was lucky to get one but had a difficult time getting out of my space due to cars parked everywhere. This is my only issue!

The bed and the couch were alittle to Loud. They made a lot of noise everytime we moved.

from the well lit property, to the super polite front desk gentleman. the welcoming experience they provide was exceptional and so very welcome. I was blown away at the quality of the carpets, the cleanliness of the towels and sheets, the towels were very fluffy and absorbent. the sheets were smooth and firm without being stiff. they smelled clean without any bleach smell. the whole room was laid out very well and instantly made me feel relaxed and able to sleep the best sleep away from home I have ever had. the shower water pressure and temperature were excellent and I felt like the acoustics were deadened and I felt like I could hear no one and I didn’t feel like I was in an echo chamber. the view was excellent and the morning staff weee just as kind and helpful as the night staff.

The room was very clean, and had all of the needed amenities. The bed and pillows were comfortable and all of the appliances in the room appeared to be in good working order. I was very satisficed with the quality of this room.

I was informed by staff at the front desk that parking was $20.00 per night, per vehicle, however my statement reflected that I was charged $24.00 per vehicle. When I contacted the hotel to inquire about the charge, I was told that I had already signed for the parking passes so there was nothing that could be done. It felt dishonest.

Did not have time to eat on site due to catching my flight. Just enough time to grab 1 cup of coffee and an apple. The work-out facility was clean and well appointed.

The price was much higher than I anticipated. Even in a high cost-of-living state, $296 seems excessive for a basic room. I had to summon maintenance to open and shut the Roman shades
