Holiday Inn Express & Suites Camarillo, an IHG Hotel

Room was spacious and clean. The location was decent as well. The one girl at the front desk was awesome and was fun to talk to which made us feel more welcomed. Breakfast was decent and did the job.

Parking wasn't the greatest. Also, there was one girl working the desk that was horrible...she was incredibly rude which put a damper on the whole stay she was that bad!

The room was so roomy. Kitchen was separate from bed area. Breakfast was very good, much better than that of Hampton Inn in Santa Maria. The pancakes came out perfect (machine made). The omelets are also made right. The complimentary coffee & hot chocolate is available all day for guests. I like that. When we check in, they gave us a small bottle of water for each person. I like that. That is nice & thoughtful since travelers are often thirsty being on the road and such. We can see that this hotel is trying hard to make its guests happy. I like that the soap/shampoo/conditioner is available on the wall of the shower vs the tiny bottles that are usually too little and not enough for 3 pp so we'd usually have to bring our own or have to ask for more. The phone in our room was dead, no dial tone. Housekeeping is not available, so we have to take the slow elevator downstairs to ask front desk for stuff. The man who fixes the phone was not available either. Jes offered to switch room for us, but it was too late & we're tired, so we don't want to pack up & move again just for a working phone. So the option was there but we just chose to stay put. Ice was not available on 2nd floor, just 1st & 3rd.

It’s so clean and comfortable feeling! Staff is always nice and the people working the breakfast always check on how things are and if we need anything!

Smelled horrible outside when we arrived…I think maybe someone threw up or something? Idk but we all gagged and couldn’t stand the smell.

I like that they have a fitness center and a pool and jacuzzi. the room was very clean and came with two beds. they have good shampoo and conditioner smells really good. they also have snacks and a vending machine .

I paid online for the room but when I got there they made me pay another $50 and they didn’t mention what it was for. the pool had dirty floor and bugs and it was also kinda green.

The room was clean and the sofa bed was ready to be used.

The bathroom was very small, the door will hit you if someone opens it. The elevator was out of service so the back entrance was open right by our room for anyone to come in at all times. I felt that it was a little unsafe to have our room so close to the exit without it being locked.

The grab and go breakfast had hot options, which was a plus! We had french toast and veggie omelets. Friendly staff. Rooms are a decent size and beds were very comfortable. Location is quiet despite being off the 101 freeway.

The elevator was out of order for basically our entire stay. Very inconvenient to run up and down the stairs to the third floor everyday. The pool towels weren’t stocked.

We loved the family suite we booked. Having the bunk beds instead of a second queen was perfect for us with 2 teen boys. Plus, the bunks were in a semi private area and they had their own TV. The room was super clean and perfect. The pool was way too green to think about getting in but we did enjoy the hot-tub for a few minutes. Breakfast was just alright but there were pretty decent amount of options.

Nice pool and nice with the breakfast. The room were great and with enough space for 5 people and luggage. Nice safe parking.

Right next to the freeway which we could hear a bit in the night. But as we only stayed 1 night it was okay.

Bed was super comfortable. Probably the best bed at a hotel that we have slept on ever. Facility was super clean.

We were in what looked like to be a handicapped room. The shower curtain wasn't long enough so it flooded the entire floor.

well we had 6 adults we didn’t have enough towels however the staff was very helpful and nice and brought us what we needed. it would have been nice to have room already stocked
