Hampton Inn & Suites Athens/Interstate 65

I loved the location, there are so many fast food restaurants around the hotel, and it wasn’t too far from the airport. the bed was comfy and so were the blankets.. the room was nice and big, and so was the restroom.

I booked a King suite… and my only dislike was how the shower drain was in the middle of the floor.. it was kind of awkward to stand on the drain or around it. also the tv channels… the tv guide wasn’t accurate, any time I clicked on a show, it was showing something else…. the WiFi was decent but could be better..

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stay at this hotel every time we travel south.

The only thing i would suggest is to label the kinds of pastries . For example. I'm allergic to bananas so it would be nice to know if the muffins or breads were banana bread . Everything else was fine.

We had a good breakfast in quiet surroundings. The location is easy to get to from the highway and easy to access the highway on leaving.

The property is well positioned as an easy day drive to and from our destination in Destin, Florida.

The property was very clean. The room itself was really nice. I like that you couldn’t see the bed when you walked in the door. I did not hear any noise from surrounding rooms or slamming doors in the hallway. It was very quiet.

The staff was so friendly!!! The hotel was very clean. From the time we walked in the lobby, through the halls and elevator, and especially our room, everything was immaculate. The beds were comfortable…the linens & pillows smelled fresh, and was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The only downfall was the price. It was too pricey for me. Fortunately, my family chipped in to cover the cost.

bathroom floor was grimy so it made you wonder about the carpet cleanliness.. asked staff to remove desk chair that almost tossed my husband on the floor!! They were very kind and promptly replaced chair!

The queen suite was nice and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was awesome and the lady that worked the breakfast buffet was so sweet and accommodating. The indoor poor was warm and the kids had a blast. The suite was just right for my family of five. Awesome stay!

I wish they had two sinks in the bathroom.

Breakfast good. Friendly staff. Location very convenient.

The shower was disappointing. The water was cold no matter how you turned the handle. Luke warm water turned to freezing and couldn’t be controlled.

I feel like normally when I stay at a hotel I can always hear other people who are there whether they are walking in the hallway or watching TV in their room. It was so quiet. I know there were other people staying in rooms close to ours but I couldn't hear them. I slept well. The room was plenty big enough for my two kids to share the couch. I couldn't hear any traffic from the interstate or anyone driving by with loud music. We were impressed how nice it actually was because sometimes you get a different room than what is pictured. The lady who checked us in went and got us extra pillows and apple juice too because my son was crying. She was great.

Honestly nothing.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

The juice and water machine was not working for breakfast. Not a big deal but needs to buy juice from the hotel concession. Would have nice to have water and maybe juice for breakfast.
