where do i start? A very comfortable stay, The rooms were lovely and clean. We received a warm welcome on arrival. We ventured into Bath and returned because of the good food reviews. So glad we did, dinner was really good and worth the wait in amongst a place that many travel to just to eat...local atmosphere was really good.. I have always stated that you can always tell a Breakfast by the quality of the sausage....and this did not disappoint me at all.. the food was hot, on warm plates and the flavor and cookery in the simplest of things, like the Tomato, was captured. probably one of the best i have ever had. I would thouroughly recomend this place and will look to return if ever i need to venture into Bath. The food is worth it alone

We arrived late on Friday evening and received the warmest welcome from the staff in the pub. All the staff throughout our stay were genuinely lovely. We were shown to our room, which was very compact but well decorated and thought-out. Despite being small there was a lot of storage and the bed was really comfy. We slept well and there wasn't any traffic noise at all despite being next to a main road. The rooms are separate from the pub, but just next door which we really liked and the pub itself is charming with a great red wine selection. They also make a very nice espresso martini.

The room did get very hot during the night and the small fan didn't really make much difference. We appreciated having the fan though. Have to say that the food was a disappointment. The standard didn't live up to expectations or match the quality of the rest of our experience.

We only stayed one night but Adam went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The best two examples of this were the provision of a cooling fan after I reported that the building (our room) was too hot, and the fact that he asked the kitchen to make my son boiled eggs and soldiers for breakfast - just because it's what he fancied - even though it wasn't on the menu, and the menu had plenty of choice on it. The food overall in the restaurant was excellent and the service very friendly.

Nothing - the room was too hot, but that was sorted.

The rooms were modern and stylish and very clean. The pub itself is really stylish with a lovely open fire. I stayed at temple inn as my friends were staying at a hotel further up the road, the team were so helpful in assisting me with a taxi and really went the extra mile. The breakfast was extremly generous and really tasty. The temple inn is a lovely pub and hotel with excellent facilities I travelled on my own but was that impressed am thinking of re visiting with my husband.. I would recommend this hotel it really is a gem 💎

I stayed at the Temple Inn while walking the Limestone Link trail, which passes just north of the village. The Inn is located on the main road in the centre of the village, opposite the petrol station, which has a handy grocery shop. The accommodation is in the building next to the pub and my room was comfortable, modern, clean and quiet (despite being close to the busy road). The popular pub has a good choice of drinks and modern British meal choices, and a generous cooked breakfast. The landlord was friendly and quite knowledgable about the local area. I would gladly stay at the Temple Inn again.

Nothing.

lovely place, breakfast excellent, staff very friendly couldn't fault our stay.

having to wait an hour for a table for food even thought we had been drinking in the bar for several hours beforehand we were asked to vacate our table-appreciate we hadn't booked but we should have been asked at check in if a table was required as there was nowhere else to eat, the staff were very apologetic but this could have been avoided.

Excellent food served during evening meal and the cooked breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable, clean and functional. The staff in the pub/restaurant were fantastic, cheerful and extremely helpful.

Ground floor rooms could do with net curtains so you don't have to shut the blinds as soon as you walk in.

Great Place - Rooms are an in an annex so there is no noise from the Pub. Comfortable and modern and the service was excellent. Food was great too. I would recommend a brunch. I heard the Sunday Roasts are one of the best in the area.

Fan was a little too noisy and the bathroom plug hole was blocked.

Didn’t have breakfast as needed a 4.30 am departure! However if previous food is to go by it would have been wonderful. Location is on busy Bristol Road but this does not detract from the good ambience of The Temple Inn

Clean, simple decor with everything you'd expect from a b&b. The pub is adjacent but separate so no pub disturbance. Pub was lovely, good selection of drinks and food, staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful.

It's on a main road and as it was warm we had windows open most of the time. The noise of hgv lorries passing in the night took a bit of getting used to.
