The room I booked was much nicer than my previous booking and was much more spacious with a larger bathroom and bedroom. The facilities were very clean, Check in and check out efficient Meals were excellent value and staff very helpful and friendly. Good parking at the rear of the property but you need to register your number plate on arrival.

There was nothing to fault this time, I would say though the rooms are above a busy pub on the main road so there is some noise but other than that its a great place to stay for the north of the city or close to the City Centre.

breakfast was lovely, made fresh and our server was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. all 4 of our party is in agreement. Loved the linen on the beds, nice quality and very clean. t.v. was good too and loved that apart from road noise it was very quiet.it was a very hot night so had to have windows open but with triple glazing when the windows were shut it was quiet.

I only have 1 very minor thing ...the cups on the tea/coffee tray.....would have preferred a normal mug as those wide cups let the tea get cold too quickly !!!!!

Spotlessly clean facilities and friendly staff combined with great value for money. Excellent food in the restaurant.Free parking was an added bonus . Absolutely no noise could be heard from the pub downstairs despite it being a rowdy crowd watching the England world cup football match. I will most definitely stay again.

Only minor criticism was the very slippery bath/shower. A notice on the bathroom mirror warned of this and advised that shower mats were available but you had to ask for one, not ideal once you were about to step into the water. Perhaps they should be provided as standard practice.

We went down to Newcastle since we were due to attend the Mouth of the Tyne Festival, and the location of the Inn was perfect! There are a total of three bus stops in the vicinity (all approximately less than a one minute walk away from the Inn) which was perfect for us to go down to Tynemouth by bus. The staff was absolutely lovely and so nice! The room was also really clean and despite the pub being downstairs, we never heard any noise from our room. Overall, a great stay and would defo recommend it!

The only issue was the Wifi: although it worked greatly for most apps, it didn't work for voice and video calls by WhatsApp. Other than that, it was great!

Quick and easy check in plenty of car parking. Bed comfortable and room clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Although on a busy roundabout the room had triple glazing so was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice very well cooked and presented. We have family very close so this location was good for us.

The room was exactly like the pictures and absolutely spotless. you could tell a lot of thought had gone into making the room quiet too, which I had enquired about prior to my visit because I had a really important exam first thing the next morning. I was able to achieve everything I wanted like a decent nights sleep and peace and quiet to do some last minute study. Thanks guys! I didn’t end up trying the food but I will next time because it looked and smelled delicious!

The efficiency of the staff was brilliant, we was even able to check in early as the room was clean and ready. Cleanliness of both the room and pub was faultless, everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely and choices were not short on, everything was well cooked and hot. Overall a brilliant stay and the staff were great

The location was perfect for the Freeman hospital and for Newcastle City centre with brilliant links to bus service. Our stay was excellent value for money, the pub food was really good and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful with travel plans. Also next door is the People's theatre where we caught a performance of the Vicar of Dibley.

The room, whilst nicely decorated could have done with a bit of a touch up.

A clean comfortable room ( although the bed was a bit firmer than I prefer) It’s within a short walk from my mother in laws flat.

The chap that booked us In didn’t greet me and wasn’t very friendly… he just needs a lesson in customer service! The breakfasts were nice and the staff at breakfast went out of his way to accommodate my request (for marmite! 😂)
