The breakfast room was good, our room was good and the bed was comfortable. The staff, in general, was amiable, always a smile and a "good morning". At the reception desk, Jodie and Morgan were so helpful with a friendly chat and taking care of the minor problems

The controls for the AC/Heater were hopeless, we changed rooms after the first night but the second room was no better, even two maintenance workers couldn't figure out how to set it. The control panels in the rooms need replacing.

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly, rooms were very clean and parking was reasonable at 5 pound per day.

Rooms were small, we had the standard double room with sofa bed, and it was good that it could accomodate us all but would be great if they had either a family size room or adjoining double rooms available to purchase. Also, there was no easy access to carpark as you have to walk around the building to the back and during winter it is very cold and wet, so we had to ask to use the fire door for easy access to the car with the 2 kids and the luggage.

Like the modern, sleek and minimal look. Provided a toothbrush and toothpaste when I forgotten it. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choices!

The drop off/pick up area was not well conceived being on an incline beside the building and not at the entrance. There was a taxi only bay in front of it instead. I happen to go around the back of the building and saw lots of rats by the dumpsters. Yes there is a restaurant connected to the hotel but still that is shocking! The signage of where to park for the night and to drop off needs to be better especially at night.

I liked how central the hotel was. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I liked the 24 hour reception. It was everything you needed from a budget stay.

The breakfast was average. There was no bath in my room and I had a toddler so I would have like to have known to request a room that accommodated that if possible. But we made do.

Exceptionally clean hotel. The bathroom was immaculate. Friendly and helpful staff. As an IHG member I was able to book late check out. Room was a good size. Five minute cab ride from Harlow Town train station.

The sofa bed/settee was stained, which I find common in most Holiday Inn Express hotels. A bit overpriced for an out-of-town hotel. No fried eggs for breakfast, only powered scramble eggs. Covid-19 is greatly reduced now, so bring back fried eggs!

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Although the breakfast was repeatative, it was very well managed and to a good standard.

The only issue was the carpet had two bad stains on it. Carpet needs cleaning or replacing. On two occasions we had to ask for a bath towel as only one was left for a double room with two guests. Wasn't keen on paying £5 a day for the carpark with no guarantee of the space.

On my 3rd night my room was not cleaned and no clean towel. 2nd night used cups were not removed. I expected the bed to be made properly even if the sheets were not going to be changed. There were scones cramps in bed but I was told that the sheets are not changed everyday if you stay for more than one night. Only if you book for one night that's when the sheets can be changed. I thought due to COVID the sheets should be changed regardless of how long you will be staying.

The room was far more than I was expecting. Very clean, comfortable. Breakfast was another unexpected surprise.

My car got trapped in due to inconsiderate parking, making me late for an appointment. Staff tried, but could not find owner of obstructive car. Not on staff list and couldn't find guest info to match car. Only managed to get out with al ot of help from two other people.

The staff were all brilliant - exceptionally helpful and friendly Bar/lounge/eating area well planned, functional and clean Good breakfast and excellent pizza ahe. We came back late after a wedding

The local area wasn’t inspiring - but we were staying as very convenient for a wedding at The Barns at Lodge Farm. Perfect as only 10 minutes away by car/taxi

Fire alarm went off but there was no announcement to say it was a false alarm so we dragged our kids out in pjs all the way down stairs out into the street and had to walk all the way back up to the third floor with husbands bad knee for nothing.
