The hotel was lovely and comfortable- great rooms, convenient location, cozy pool and saunas.

1. Slippers are only provided for 2p as well as robes. Not a big deal for me, but not for all the guests- as a result people are moving between pool and their rooms wearing towels… People also enter the changing rooms wearing their street boots… making changing rooms dirty 2. Restaurant- try to avoid it !!! Terrible food and service.. ruined my moms birthday. I said I was not happy , but they still included Service charge, and after I asked to remove it- they still charged us… Such a shame

Some restaurant staff had long hair that should have been tied up. While serving sometimes hair fell into plates. Small item on Christmas day but was noticeable

Whilst a good, central, location it didn’t feel like I was in beautiful Bath. It was quite murky in the area around the hotel

Second time coming here, absolutely love it! Perfect location & the rooms are so lovely! We stayed in the superior room & it was so spacious, my only bit of constructive criticism is that the room could use a sofa, there was a big empty space by the window where a sofa would be perfect & offer additional seating. Loved the addition of the coffee machine in the room & the staff were always happy to bring up fresh oat milk & extra coffee pods upon request. The bathroom is so spacious & loved all the toiletries; such a lovely selection & the best I’ve had at any hotel by far. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance. Spotlessly clean too! We look forward to coming again next Christmas for our annual visit. One very happy couple :)

Clean, friendly, great swimming pool facilities, amazing location. Was extremely happy for the price we paid - incredible value. Opposite a really fun pizza/restaurant place with great cocktails as well. Great hotel breakfast and restaurant serves good food.

Swimming pool very busy with kids and parents. Didn't bother me and there is a good booking system to help ease overload. They also provide adult only swim times. Room turndown didn't happen for us after the first night, which was disappointing, and there was no replenishment of bathroom products (shampoo & conditioner, hand wash etc).for the duration of the stay. But very small nuisance.

location was perfect, just a few minutes walk into the centre. Restaurants and a cinema literally over the road. We got upgraded to a family room which was huge! Two extra large double beds, fantastic bathroom with possibly the best bath ever. Shower was superb and spotlessly clean. Lots of teas, coffee and hot chocolate and a nice bottle of water in the fridge. Breakfast was lovely, had the full English and although a bit of a wait it was worth it. Piping hot and delicious. Cold buffet was great too, selection of breads, pastries and fruit and plenty of cereal. Paid a visit to the pool area, this was lovely. Again, very clean and plenty of towels. The sauna and steam room were great. Every member of staff we spoke to were brilliant, even lent us umbrellas when we forgot ours! Will ALWAYS stay here in future when we are in Bath.

We really liked the location of the hotel — everything was nearby and easily accessible. The hotel itself was comfortable and cozy, with great facilities. The spa was a real highlight , perfect for relaxation and unwinding. Overall, we had a very positive experience. Delicious food.

There were just a few small things that we found less enjoyable. The view from our window was directly onto the wall and windows of a nearby building, which felt a bit close and lacked privacy — though of course, that’s something that can’t really be changed. The room overall was very clean, with perfectly white bed linen and towels, but there was a slight layer of dust ,possibly because the room hadn’t been used for a while — nothing major, just a small detail. Around the pool area, there didn’t seem to be much supervision, and unfortunately, some guests walked through in outdoor shoes, which didn’t feel very hygienic. Also, we experienced a long wait for food a couple of times.

I had purposely booked a double room for myself, and I was hoping that my room would be a little bigger; it wasn't, but it was clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast. Staff was professional and very friendly throughout my stay.

As the hotel is quite central and offers no parking of its own, parking my car was challenging. I used the popular Kingsmead car park down the road, and it was very full. Eventually, I found a spot, and I was delighted that I could pay until 8am the next morning (Sunday). However, at 8am, the system would not allow me to renew my parking for an hour, and at 8:45am, 15 minutes before I was allowed to renew it, I was given a £25 parking ticket. Bad luck, especially for a Sunday morning!

Couldn't ask for better, everything was first class from the room to the staff to the hotel and facilities. My partner had her 40th Birthday 🎂 🥳 and they gave us two birthday cakes, all the staff were polite curtious and approachable. Everywhere was clean and well presented and the food was of a high standard 👌 it was close to a lovely canal walk on one side and the city centre with roman baths and cathedral on the other side with an amazing choice of shops cafe's and restaurants atmosphere was amazing. 5star stay all the way.

The hotel is modern and overall well-maintained. There were no significant issues, and we had a smooth stay. The breakfast is really good, offering options such as unlimited hashbrowns, eggs, sausages, grilled tomatoes, bacon, and beans, or a choice of one restaurant dish, which is a nice touch. Additionally, they offer coffee, yogurt, toast, and sugar-free orange juice(for kids). They also have a sauna, hammam, and swimming pool, but there are some issues with the temperature in those areas. Air system works and is quiet. Vey nice and helpful staff.

The temperature in the sauna wasn’t regulated properly, and it was just too cold. Some of the amenities and showers were broken in the swimming pool area. The room cleaning staff seemed to be rushing through their work, and the result was quite sloppy.
