The Manager was so helpful and pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. He was a pleasure to deal with. I can't rate him highly enough. Definitely a 5-star. Would definitely stay again, as the staff were all very friendly and the accommodation was spotless. Excellent food at reasonable prices, and enjoyed the outdoor space, as we are smoker's. You have to be rated as one of the best places we have stayed in, and it is high praise from my wife. A big thanks to all your staff, for making us welcome and being able to enjoy our break.

Stayed here twice now for football ⚽️ , good well stocked bar , good food menu at a good price , spacious room, clean and comfortable , good sized car park 😀

Last time I stayed the shower didn't work at all , this time I found it hard to get wet , certainly not a power shower , I arrived early , went to reception to tell them I had arrived and my car woukd be in the car park , I knew a room wouldn't be ready at 11.45 am but just got , can't check you in until 2pm after id explained I only wanted to see if they wanted my car registration, the girl wasn't miss personality

Nice room and bathroom, very big!! Ideal for a family. Great value. It's conveniently close to the M1 for anyone travelling.

Breakfast was fine but not great and a little disorganized. The hotel needed to know what we would want for breakfast and at what time, the night before. This was a little inconvenient for a guest but I understand that if they don't have many guests they can't have staff waiting for guests to arrive at any time. The first day the breakfast room was locked due to some miscommunication between evening and morning staff.

Location perfect, just off M1, as we were en route to Alton Towers. Room was massive! Beds so comfortable, really quiet. Pub next door plus Chinese takeaway on site. Will definitely return.

Check in took quite a while as the landlord was busy. Not ideal as it was late and our young daughter was tired. But when he came he was friendly and the room more than made up for it. It's not immediately obvious on arrival where you should park or check in.

Easy access to M1. Excellent to have a great pub close by for food. Honestly the best value around. We paid 50 pounds for a really big room. Separate single beds for kids. Was not expecting much but very much exceeded expectation and would stay again.

Google maps was not accurate at pinpointing location. Not the fault of the property or course. Hallways in accomodation looking a bit tired but if you are travelling as a family, we were on our way to York, and need a stop over, this is perfect.

The customer service is above and beyond, the surrounding area is beautiful, tucked away in Very quiet and pleasant housing estate. The rooms are lovely and tidy and very spacious (we had 2 children that use wheelchairs staying in a ground floor room and there was ample room for them to get around as well as 2 adults. The outdoor play area for the kids is great and the indoor area is great for little ones. The bar and restaurant are very reasonably priced and the food is lovely. The prices of the rooms are extremely good value for money. I would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and have no doubt I will stay again in the future. Thankyou.

Slight mix up regarding the room booked but was corrected very quickly

I didn't fully read booking.com and didn't know that some of the rooms are above function suite ( room 10) , it was extremely noisy on the Friday due to a event and the Saturday a wedding we ended up leaving at 11pm Saturday night and driving back to Scotland. Having said that I would stay again I would just ask for quieter room .

Room clean,tidy and comfortable. Bed huge and exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast good. Had an evening meal both days which was also good value.

Booked breakfast for 8am both days as exhibiting at local show. Breakfast room not set up on both mornings and waited for 45 minutes on Sunday morning. Good job the show was cancelled!!

Breakfast was good but the black pudding that was on the menu was out of stock.

The bathroom had the shower over the bath, I have mobility problems and cannot get in and out of high sided baths. The hotel is a Marston's hotel and Marston's Pedigree is my favourite beer. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was because it was Marston's. There was no Pedigree served in the bar the Marston's beer on sail was Old Empire, this I had. The beer was not as good as it could have been the taste was tainted probably due to the lack of turnover.
