The staff are beyond lovely, the epitome of Turkish hospitality. The property is beautiful, the pictures don’t even do it justice, you feel at peace the moment you step in. I really like their showers, it’s Turkish style and that’s how I prefer a shower, the water pressure was the best in Turkey! You even get a view from the bathroom window! The view from the terrace is the BEST I’ve ever seen. I left here wishing I had stayed longer, I am planning my next stay. Get a gin and tonic before dinner and just watch the view, can’t be beat.

Nothing. I’m not just saying this, I mean it. There’s nothing to dislike.

My friend and I stayed here for a week at the start of the season.  Perfect location in the Old Town, short walks to beachfront,  shops and restaurants. I can't fault our stay here in any way,  the staff were wonderful and nothing was to much trouble. Naci, waiter of the year served up beautifully presented breakfasts of fresh fruit, bread, cheeses, honey and other delights alongside Húlya, both who never tired of fulfilling our requests. Top class local knowledge too. Ayse kept our rooms in tip top condition,  always a supply of fresh towels. Thank you all. Special thanks to our hosts Halil and Marien who run a wonderful guest house, a fantastic couple. Gorgeous views of the sea from the terrace and the garden on ground level is truly delightful.  Comfortable seating in calm and soothing colours complemented by the vibrant colours of all their glorious plants. Truly a haven in Kalkan, I would thoroughly recommend this guest house. And please make use of the airport transfers on offer, we had a truly comfortable vehicle with illuminated floor and refreshing cold water.

The White House is right in the old town which is beautiful but in a quiet street so not bothered by noise. Very pretty garden with marvellous deck terrace for breakfast overlooking the sea. Room very comfortable with generous space in bedroom and bathroom. The owner and staff were super helpful and friendly. Our luggage was delayed and they assisted us to bring it through from Dalaman airport the same evening. They went out of their way to liaise with the airpot in retrieving our luggage which we needed g to start our hike on the Lycian Way the following day. Thank you!!

Nothing - it was perfect!

My husband and I stayed in the White House for four nights. Perfect location in the old town with a very pretty courtyard for relaxing in, quiet but also close to shops and restaurants and two minutes to the beach. We had a lovely balcony perfect for sundowners, the room is cleaned each day and the breakfasts were amazing (fruit, cheese, jams, honey, eggs and more is served on the top terrace with gorgeous views). The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again.

The Turkish breakfast was superb, plenty of fresh produce and some home made. The fresh coffee was exceptional as was the service. The staff were friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We loved the authenticity of The White House and its beautiful courtyard and seating areas, there were many to choose from. It's a tranquil, peaceful setting and great area to relax at any time of the day. Marion and Halil were the perfect hosts.

My very recent stay at The White House was a wonderful experience. The rooms are attractive and light, bed linen and towels refreshed every day. The courtyard in the centre of the buildings is an attractive arbor from the sun during the day and very pretty in the evening. My welcome was perfect, the staff superb throughout. Delicious breakfasts served on a terrace with a marvellous view of the sea, old town and marina. I will be back as soon as possible. Perfect in every way.

There is such attention to detail that nothing could be improved.

I liked everything about the White House. It was central, clean and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a small accident and Marion and staff went out of their way to help me. I was very grateful.

There was nothing I didnt like. I would highly recommend The White House. I only wish I did not have a little accident but that cannot be helped.

Great location with lovely views to the sea. It’s in the old town so lovely old buildings around. Also, it’s st the top of the old part so not too noisy. we loved the outside space and being able to sit on the balcony and look out to the harbour. Very helpful and friendly people. Marion very kindly arranged the return of a couple of things I left behind.

- Excellent breakfast with view on the terrace - Friendly welcome, very kind staff - The position, at the border of the centre of Kalkan and yet tranquil and silent

- The room we chose was quite little, especially travelling with big luggage for a longer road trip, but we knew it. - The bathroom was quite unpractical with the shower at floor level closed only with a curtain; the entire bathroom gets flooded when taking the shower.

Location is perfect in the old town. Owners were so kind looking out and helping my elderly mum and aunt as they were on their own for 1 day. They let them stay on in their room so they could have a lie down before their night flight. Wonderful breakfast with great views from the terrace.
