Megasaray Westbeach Antalya - All Inclusive

On the coast of the mediterranean sea sits a true gem of a hotel. I was not sure what to expect   when I went there but what I found was a hotel I would be happy to recommend to friends and family. From the moment we walked in we received a warm welcome from the receptions and welcome team. And this positive impression was reinforced when we went up to our lovely spotless room and relaxed in a nice bath after a long flight. The food in the hotel is exceptional and it is obvious that the chefs and hospitality staff put a lot of effort into making everything special. I was not expecting the quality of the food or the quality of the presentation and vast array of choices.  There was everything from delicious rows of salad options for the health conscious to tasty comfort food to light snacks including the best pizza I have ever eaten including restaurants in Italy. And don’t get me started on the vast array of deserts. They were so beautiful and tasty they would not have looked out of place in a Willy Wonka movie. And there is a lovely patisserie that serves some of the amazing coffees and pastries you will ever eat. Just behind the Bar that is open 24 hours a day and had some of the best cocktails I have ever known and the skill of staff would make Tom cruise in cocktail look like a rank amateur. The entertainment in the evening and during the day was varied and of high quality, And the location was perfect to see all the best that Antalya has to offer, from a relaxing walk down the seafront to  trips to the various attractions like the cable car. We used public transport and it was very easy as just tapping the currency card was around 18 Turkish lira per journey so it was really cheap to get around but there are loads of taxi around if you prefer. Also check out the spa on the -1 level. It is beside the indoor swimming pool and spa and steam rooms downstairs.  The staff are lovely and very professional and the spa itself is very private and relaxing.

To sum up, it is a lovely place to visit. The only down side for me was I had to leave as I enjoyed it so much.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food and drinks menu had abundant good choices.

I was worried about the plastic use at the hotel. All drinking water was provided in plastic bottles and some desserts in plastic cups. Even though they might be collected for recycling, I do not think that this is the best solution and given that the hotel has a eco-friendly label, I believe they can do more about the plastic consumption at the hotel.

The staff at the Megasaray are the strength of this hotel. Not only is the hotel 50 feet from the beach, but it is the centre of the West beach and all the resort-type places along the med front. The staff were terrific. We were travelling with a toddler, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. From Dilyara and the sports team getting the pulse up in pool aerobics to the excellent service from Anil in the Megafood restaurant (he remembered our names and our order to give us first-class service!) Hakan made sure a couple of issues with our booking were resolved before our arrival, and the girls in the young people area always played the best games with our youngest to ensure she was occupied and happy.

We travelled with a 2yo. There was no place that one might consider a "quiet" place, and sometimes she was a little bit overwhelmed by all the sounds, music, and lights. The hotel might consider a quiet area indoors that is not a guest room that allows those some quiet spaces to reflect and calm down away from all the racket and festivities commonly associated with family hotels.

From lively performances to engaging activities, the hotel's commitment to keeping us engaged was evident and appreciated. 4. **Friendly Guest Relations Staff:** The guest relations team was a saving grace. Their friendly and helpful demeanor went a long way in making us feel valued and taken care of throughout our stay. 5. **Outstanding Staff in Key Areas:** The true gems of our stay were the entertainment team, as well as the bar and restaurant staff. Their exceptional service and warm interactions made our time at the hotel more memorable. 6. **Invigorating Spa Services:** The spa services provided at Megasaray Antalya were a highlight. The rejuvenating experiences offered an escape from the daily grind and added an extra layer of relaxation to our vacation. In conclusion, our stay at Megasaray Antalya was a mix of highs and lows. While the hotel possesses great potential with its wonderful location, variety of food options, and engaging entertainment, there are notable areas for improvement, particularly in terms of room amenities and the attitude of certain staff members. We hope that the management takes these concerns to heart and works towards creating a consistently exceptional experience for all guests.

1. **Unwelcoming Front Desk:** Our check-in experience was marred by the unfriendly attitude of the front desk staff. A warm welcome and a willingness to assist guests would have certainly set a more positive tone for our stay. 2. **Room and Washroom Amenities Need Upgrade:** As a 5-star establishment, we expected top-notch room amenities, but we were disappointed. The air conditioner in our room struggled to cool adequately, particularly during the night, which led to some uncomfortable nights. Additionally, the bidet in the toilet was not functioning properly, resulting in a waterlogged bathroom floor—a situation that should not have occurred in a hotel of this caliber.

Hotel and room was clean, staff were really friendly especially on the beach. Private beach was really comfortable. Even though we did not use, but it is also comfortable that there is a shuttle bus between the hotel and the private beach. Distance is 500-600 meters, so we walked instead, which I recommend! Food and drinks in the beach bar were the best (along with the staff), we really liked that!

We were expecting a little more programs by the animator team (maybe even on the beach because we were there most of the time). Food selection (at breakfasts and dinners) was really wide but many of them had the same feeling so maybe a bit less in variety but more different could have been better.

This was my first experience at an all inclusive resort and I was a little unsure when booking after reading a couple of reviews, however once we arrived I knew we made the right choice. The hotel is clean and the facilities and staff are excellent. Food was very good and so much variety available and the lobby bar is a nice relaxing place to unwind open 24h. Walk right out from the rear gate onto the beach and walking distance to many shops and restaurants if you want to explore. Will definitely be staying here next time I visit. If I had to pick something I would say the WiFi is not great but I bought a tourist sim so used that instead.

The food was so tasty and diversified, including the fruits and the cakes,the hotel and the room were clean, the mattress was comfy and the mini bar in the room was always full. The beach bar was good with drinks and food, even if the beach was a bit far from the hotel.The hotel offers transport to the beach, but we find out in the middle of our holiday. The wifi is working good when is not to busy in the hotel. The entertaintment team is present all day and they trying to do activities with the guests. The staff changed our room in the 2 day, as we requested for a double bed in the booking. Is not to far from the airport ( 30 min about 20-25 euro). Easy to reach the old town or malls by bus.

Most of the staff doesn't speak english, they are talking in turkish and russian language, but this is very usual in Antalya. In the peak seaon the staff is overwhelmed and the sunbeds at the swimming pool are occupied quite early in the morning. We went in a day tour and we asked a day in advance about the lunch box...the staff forgot about it and we had to wait 20 min for a very poor bad looking meal 😔. As a suggestion...the reception should inform the guests when they arrive about all the facilities in the hotel or to give a brochure about this. The furniture in the room is a bit old, it will be nice to be replaced with something more fresh, as is a beach destination.

Very clean rooms and comfortable beddings. The property was close to the city center , and right on the beach, with quiet and super clean sidewalks along the beach. Wide variety of items on the large breakfast buffet, with plenty of choices. The staff was professional and attentive. Kavon, working at the customer service desk, public relations, was very helpful and considerate and did everything to make our stay more pleasant at Megasaray. He was also checking with us every step of the way trying to follow up and locate our missing luggage with Air Canada/ Lufthansa/ and Turkish Airline and ease our stay. We appreciate all his help.

Location is great, you could walk to the beach, service is wonderful, you can enjoy drinks by the pool, the food varied every day and was all great, the rooms were cleaned very well, they were also good in size with good furniture, staff was kind, everything is available either in the hotel (e.g. salon, small market) or a walking distance, enternatinments were available, the hotel provided towels for the beach/pool. Would visit again, defintely worth the money.

The hotel is obviously new and could improve its routine. A misunderstanding led to the staff at the reception thinking we had not paid on our second day and they directly took the step of deactivating our cards, the staff did not attempt to contact us prior to deactivating the cards. This issue was fixed with a simple call to booking.com which should have been done by the staff before deactivating our cards. On our last day the cleaning ladies (who were otherwise very kind) presumebly thought we had already checked out and walked into our room and directly went out when they realized we had not left. The hotel staff apologized and offered us compensation but we hope for establishing better routines to avoid similar issues from happening.

The spaces and decorations were fantastic and beautiful the pool was easy to get by children , the foooood was delecious , Reception was available all the time, the all in conclusive is 100% All in , you will not get bored ever its the best hotel i have been at in last 5 years , very freindly helpfull staff , worth the money for sure , we recommended it to our freinds and family already and will visit again.

The is nothing to dislike every thing was perfect
