Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya (SHA Plus)

Everything was great staff friendly and it was a great place to holiday

The people who smoke seem to think that they can smoke in every outside area. I was sitting near the pool and young kids were nearby and some people decided it was ok to smoke. I just with the Hotel would enforce no smoking in every area of the hotel and make them go on the streets to smoke.

Room was very good, quite spacey. Really nice and big swimming pool where you can hang out all afternoon. Location is perfect, you can just walk out to the beach road.

Staff should not be wearing face masks. They're not keeping anyone safe according to any science, they are harmful to the person wearing one and I prefer to talk to a real person instead of the mask of fear. This is going on for far too long already, but all hotels are the same (thus far). I hope it will change though for my next stay.,

Great hotel with a very nice pool area, just next to the beach. Staff was always very helpful.

Very friendly welcome with complementary drink. Smiles from all staff, super friendly. Very I,oressibe entrance hall and the room on 7th floor Met our needs exactly - pool and sea view. Complementary water and bathroom essentials. Room cleaned to a very high standard. Breakfast was superb with great selection in an airy dining room. Always met personally by the staff. Swimming pool and swim uo bar incredible. Fantastic pool setting with towels, loungers and trees. The pool area is very clean. There is even 5G hotel wifi at the poolside. A very nice touch was the two lifeguards on duty at all times. You don’t see that very often. Wifi in the hotel was great too. On our last day we were spontaneously offered a later check out (1pm instead of 12pm). Much appreciated as we didn’t ask. Great hotel location in between Beach Rd and Second Rd meaning transport costs (10 baht on the baht bus) can be minimised. Hotel is right on the beach and a short walk from Central Festival Mall. There is also a useful 7/11 opposite the hotel entrance in Second Road. I will highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Prices in the souvenir shop of Hard Rock merchandise was a bit expensive. Limited dining options in the evening. No sweet snack (cake, biscuit etc) available for afternoon tea at the Pizzeria.

We stayed for 18 nights. ALL staff work incredibly hard! The pool and cabins to rent were nice.Being close to the beach was nice. The price for food at the resort was fair. The rooms were big. The children pool was great, even for adults. We loved that there were tons of things for kids to do on the hour. Breakfast was OK, but after 4 nights it gets a bit boring. Plenty of options to sit outside, in shade and sun. Room, shower was nice and hot. Beds were big and comfortable. Room service fast. Breakfast Buffet in the restaurant always has room, no matter what time you get there. The pool staff remembered my sons name, and would ask him to get involved in the events they had. It says we are from China, but we are from Canada.

Booked a balcony room, but no balcony. Very little TV Chanels, like 10, and the TV was kinda broken. Used the spa, great staff, but she cut my big toe, bled, the room had no atmosphere- no nice smells, no music, and near to the gym, so a big noisy. Again breakfast was just OK, always pancakes, no like french toast, and the egg table is constantly busy, so hard to get eggs, especially scrambled eggs. The bathroom was very dark, so hard to put on my makeup. Saturday and Sunday people from Bangkok would come up to the hotel, and thus making is crazy busy, less enjoyable.

The location is central. It is within walking distance to a few malls. The beach is just across the road. Besides that, the staff were outstanding in the service. The breakfast crew were very attentive and were able to remember our drink orders even the next morning. The pool crew were very enthusiastic and service oriented. The crew would bring water toys to entertain the children. There were also 2 life guards on duty at all time. The in room dining was small but the service was prompt and food was nice! Last but not least, the check in was smooth and the property was generally clean.

The breakfast spread was quite small although they tried to make small changes to the menu daily. The music from the Hard Rock Cafe live band was a bit too loud and would go on till midnight everyday.

Really liked the location. Right on beach road. Walk either direction, lots of bars and restaurants, with the beach right there. Or catch the baht bus, so easy and convenient. The facilities were great, although we didn't use the pool gym or restaurant as we were out playing golf every day. So parking was very convenient, as was overall security

Its not the cheapest place, there might be better options at a better price, but we didn't find any.

it is my 4th or 5th time at HR Hotel, all is always fantastic or I would not go back, but the staff it's amazing. Helpful, professional, smiley, something nowadays more and more difficult to find in hotels in Thailand. In particular the Breakfast and the Pool's squads are superb.

Just my point of you, the rooms and corridors are too cold - even with aiscon off in room isn't easy to stay 100% comfy.

Just about everything was most satisfactory. I must particularly mention the staff who were without exception polite, friendly, efficient and always responded promptly to our requests. The breakfast was brilliant with an outstanding selection and excellent service. We will definitely stay here again. Good value for money.

The rooms are starting to look a little tired and could do with some refurbishment.

Stayed several times over the years and the Hard Rock has always been a good hotel and very clean , breakfast is plenty of choice and we ate on the tables at the front on a night a couple of times and the staff and food were excellent,

Just looks a little shabby on the exterior now and could do with a little lift to keep it within a 4/5 star residence, apart from that nothing to complain about
