Baan Rim Ao

The hotel room, all staffs and facilities were great. Breakfast and meal were recommended. Thank you staff for supporting us especially khun Tom as the hotel manager. Plan to have good weekend again at here!

We reserved this hotel for 2 days on 1-3 July 2022 by using booking.com app and found that the hotel treated us as 2 tier customer. the hotel chose our reserved room with “worst view and worst noise” by informed us that it was last room. Later as checking booking.com app, we found that the hotel still have other rooms for same period. We upset hotel’s treating. Until we complained to booking.com, at 10 pm the hotel agreed to upgrade our room with additional charge THB 200. Hope this information be benefit hotel for improvement in the future.

I usually don't like to stay in hotels, even the best and most famous ones. But the experience at Baan Rim Ao was exceptional! We planned a trip to Chanthaburi for two days to see the local sights and visit the jewelry market and didn't book the hotel in advance. We looked at what was available on booking for a reasonable price with 4 stars. 

 The hotel is not in the town itself but in a picturesque area near farms on the bay. We checked in not in tourist season and there was another couple from China staying in the entire hotel besides us. How surprised we were when in the evening a group of musicians came to the restaurant (there was even a saxophonist) and arranged a whole concert for us alone. And when they brought us the menu, we couldn't believe that the oysters cost no more than 160 Bt. We decided to try it and it turned out to be the best oysters in our life - the freshest and tender. 

 The staff is a separate story. No one speaks enough English to communicate with the guest. This is not a chain hotel where the staff is trained to international standards. And that's a good thing. Because they do everything with heart and full dedication to their work. No even the highest standards can reproduce this family atmosphere.

 We liked everything very much, down to the smallest detail. And we have also never seen such a perfectly clean pool! The man who takes care of the pool is a god in his business.
 I think Baan Rim Ao Hotel is the crown jewel of Chanthaburi.

Wish I could stay longer

The property sits on a panoramic view of big lotus pond and a swimming pool and a lake. It is a beautiful surrounds of nature. The staff are friendly, helpful and accomodating as we were travelling with 14 people in our group with many requests. Our trip was cut short because of other matters, I will definitely come back to this place.

Yes,,it's far about 8 km from the center ,about 4 km from 7 eleven ,No transportation available except taxi. You can't come for long period.

This was a peaceful location and everything was almost perfect. The food in the restaurant at night was exceptional and the staff helpful and friendly. It was wonderful having swims in the large pool. The sea view from our room was stunning.

The room, bathroom and balcony were spacious and well kept.The views from the resort are stunning.A very romantic setting.

Although it was very pleasant having our breakfast served on our balcony, the food was not always hot.Also there were only three choices.

difficult to communicate but we got there eventually. location was quite isolated, but Taxi rides into town are very cheap.

Very clean, friendly staff, good location, easy to find on google maps, plenty of parking, the tree lights at evening time were really impressive and lovely, great food, nicely served.
