We had an awesome time here! - new, well-equipped hotel - rooms with fully functional kitchenette - pet friendly - laundromat on site - large underground garage - super easy check in/ check out process, no staff involved - Starbucks and Nespresso coffee machines in the lobby - Aldi supermarket just around the corner - great staff, everyone from cleaning and maintenance to management staff were always friendly and willing to help

- a bit far from the city centre - industrial area; not many things to do around the hotel - no restaurant on-site but we managed to prepare breakfast in our room and eat out or order the other meals

The hotel is brand new, very quiet. We have inter connecting rooms with 2 toilets and 2 kitchens. The beds are comfy. The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived early and unable to check in to our rooms but were surprised that they sent our bags to our rooms when we did the check in. The hotel is 3 mins walk from the bus stop and the bus takes only 15 mins to reach the Bern station.

The washing machine and dryer were not ready for use. It will be perfect if there is salt, pepper and oil for cooking.

The hotel was under a ten minute bus ride from Bern train station. The bus stop is one minute from the hotel It was clean, modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen area in the room was great and would have been useful if we were staying longer. It's a self service check in and out so we didn't meet any staff. I'm sure they were available if needed but the system was easy to use and follow. There is a free outdoor swimming pool just an 8 minute walk from the hotel (slides, diving boards, fountains, changing areas). Would recommend the hotel and would book again.

Really nice rooms, newly renovated, clean. Really nice bathroom. Excellent price. Easy check in process.

The automated check out process was problematic. The automatic system lets you check out only between 9-11. We wanted to check out at 8 to catch a train and we could not. I called the emergency number that is written on the machine and the lady who answer was not helpful at all, she said we should stay and wait for the reception personal who comes in at 9. We waited (missed our train) and the receptionist when she came at 9 she said we could just leave the card and go....

There was no breakfast included, but the mini-kitchen is really good equipped and it allows you to cook all the essential stuff you need. There's also an ALDI groceries store like 200 meteres away where you could buy even some non-grocery goods (clothes, travel stuff etc.). The hotel is quite well automated and the mobile app allows you to open all needed doors with a simple swipe. The equipment in the hotel is quite new and fully functional.

There was a problem with a parking space. Although reserved ahead of time, no free parking space was left in an underground garage as we arrived (this garage has spaces for multiple companies, not only the hotel). But after contacting the 24h support I've been told about an alternate space from another company which could be used in the same garage.

Location was good, it wasn’t much of a chore to shuttle to and fro from. Also came with a bern travel pass for the area for the length of your stay, very handy especially since you will need a bus to travel to the main station everyday! A grocery store is located nearby too. There was also a laundromat in the basement (which was a little hard to use and a little pricey but i guess a lot of things are in switzerland). The room was very clean and the staff were helpful! Kitchenette was well equipped with sharp knives, basic pots and pans / cutleries and microwave.

there was no aircon, tolerable if the weather is good! But otherwise, it was almost too hot to stay in the room during the day. There was also quite a lack of instructions with regards to certain things, like how to use the safe (we couldn’t figure it out and had to ask the staff for assistance oops) and even the laundromat. (Although not a place-specific problem, the power sockets are small and indented, and most of our international adaptors could not fit into the sockets due to the mismatch of the adapter shape despite having the correct “prongs” - it might be worth it to bring a lab electric cord??)

Only a ten minute, free, bus ride from the station on the 101. The bus stop is right by the hotel. During the week the buses ran every 10 minutes so it was very easy to get to the old part of Bern. Excellent facilities. Good little kitchen with everything we needed. Next door to Aldi. Would recommend a couple get the room with two single beds. Actually they are pushed together and you do get more room. We overlooked a flyover but there wasn't any noise and the industrial view with hills in the background was interesting. We would certainly stay here again. No difficulty accessing the building or checking in.

Very clean room in very good new condition. Nice table and chairs to eat your meals on. Checked in with the app before we arrived so just went straight to our room. It's wonderful to have a kitchenette in expensive Switzerland to save some Euros. Aldi right next door. A great free outdoor swimming pool right across the road also. TV has channels from many different countries. The laundrette in the building is great too. Costs a few Euros.

Room was more cramped than what we were expecting. Advertised coffee machine in room which was true but they never restocked coffee or tea in the room for our entire 4 night stay. The air conditioning was pitiful. Not enough flow to make a dent on the heat in the room. Luckily the windows opened wide.

Immaculate, really well appointed apartment with excellent kitchen, super bathroom and super comfy living area. Lovely bed, great decor and 200m from bus stop into the city. If you register your overnight stay, you are entitled to free public transport in and around the city. Brilliant! Aldi 70 metres from hotel, so great for eating in if you want. Bern is a beautiful, relaxed, gorgeous city with lots to see. A delightful stay.

The hotel is a long way out of the city... but with a REALLY frequent bus service..use the 101 or 107 which both take you right into the centre... this isn't a problem anyway. Timetable is next to the park bench on the main road just metres from the hotel.

Customer service was excellent. Staff were welcoming and super accommodating. Matina went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable with the room and that I had a wonderful stay. I will definitely return. Hotel and room super clean. Beddings of high quality and white. With a spacious room and a proper work chair and desk, I enjoyed working in my room. Distance and connection to the city was easy. 6 minutes bus ride and buses were frequent even on Sunday.

The big tanks outside the room block the view. With great customer service, this ended up not being a big issue for me.
