very clean and exceptionally comfortable room. excellent for 1-2 nights. for a non luxury hotel, they go out of their way to make you comfortable. Staff at check in and check out, the staff were very clear and kind. Amenities: Loved the clean yoga mat in the room! Bed: Comfortable mattress that felt new with good pillows Ventilation: quiet air conditioning fans in the room and a window that opened enough to allow fresh air inside It was pouring rain the day I woke up and checked out. They still loaned me a nice umbrella for the day without hesitation or question. I REALLY appreciate that the breakfast aims to be sustainable with many local products, a solid effort to reduce food waste and climate impact.

The shower head could be cleaner - had some calcium buildup on it.

The hotel is centrally located near the Bern central station and old town. The room was a little compact but clean, comfortable with a kettle, tea coffee, bottled drinking water, and Ritual bathing and hand washing soap. The wafer chocolate on the pillows was a welcomed treat after a long journey. They also had a sustainable policy even with breakfast buffets (which catered to vegan as well) to avoid wastage. The hotel stay also came with a free Bern public transport access which helped when exploring the city.

Whilst I appreciate their efforts on implementing self registration and online check in, I had consistent problems with the process. In the end, I checked in person upon arrival. My sincere appreciation to Anina, one of their front desk staff who responded to my email queries and helped me check in.

We very much liked the location to the station, as we were also going to do a day trip from Bern, during our stay. The staff were excellent, especially Sami, who ensured that we had an excellent packed breakfast waiting for us at 5.30 a.m. for our early morning start. This was very much appreciated, as well as his friendly banter.. The other reception staff and cafe staff were very friendly to us. Thank you for your care and attention. The breakfasts from the restaurant, were also very good quality. Parking is also accessible to the building, making it easy for suitcases. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The only down side, was that the shower was in a high bath tub, which could be difficult for some people to get in and out of.

The room was very clean, well lit, we were on the top floor therefore had a nice view of the streets around the hotel. The breakfast was exceptionally good, lots of choices from the buffet and most importantly the location was so close to the station which was what we wanted. It took us 7 mins to walk with our luggage in tow.

The pillows were very soft as it was feather filled so we asked for non allergic pillows however these were not plump either. I guess this was the nature of their pillows but we just made do with what we’re given as we were only there for 1 night transiting thru Bern. I’m sure they would have given us another kind of pillow if we had asked again.

We loved everything about this property but what made our stay even better is the staff. The location is amazing, few minutes walk to the train station which has pretty much everything. The room was super clean, the ac was nice and quite. The breakfast was very good and the staff serving breakfast were super! I have to mention 2 staff whose treatment and service will make me and my family come back again, Anina and Hany, you were so kind and professional, thanks a million!

it is very convenient to get to/fro the train station once you find the short cuts. the staff were very friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could. breakfast was a good spread.

the floors were not cleaned properly (can see dust wools rolling around). rooms booked did not have air conditioning - this should be explicitly stated in the room type (although the temperature was comfortable at night with 2 cooling fans)

Hotel is just around the corner from the train station, very doable lugging big bags. Area felt safe even at night. Receptionist attending on 8th afternoon was top notch- give her a promotion already! Room is good size, beds comfy with enough space. Good hot water, excellent WiFi. Kettle, coffee in room. Free breakfast of good spread (wonderful vegan croissant!) with a super kind breakfast staff. Window facing main road. Noise only if kept open. Will stay again. Ask for iron if needed.

Not an issue for us but like some European hotels, the air-conditioning is different. Here, those standing fans are provided to cool room instead. It does an adequate job but room would still be warm-ish in July. Also minor fact- similar to some Swiss hotels, toothbrush not provided as part of toiletries kit.

The reception staff welcomed us warmly and helped us with planning some activities while there. The breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. A shower in a bath is not my favourite, as being older, I have difficulty climbing in. However this one had rails which made it easier.

It had a lot of noise from traffic and a very loud noise coming from a bar /restaurant nearby until the early hours of the morning- very hard to sleep.

Just a 5 minute walk from the train station! Breakfast was good, even had a waffle maker which was fun. Gluten free and vegetarian friendy. Shower was clean, and enough towels were provided. A/C worked wonders especially during the 34 degree weather we visited. Overall a very pleasant stay

The room was quite small, not enough space for two luggages to be opened, but not the end of the world.

The hotel is well located, five minutes walk from the central station, and ten from the city center. The room is an adequate size, the beds are comfortable, it is equipped with a coffee maker and the wifi is good. Breakfast is quite complete, with hot dishes (scrambled eggs and bacon) and a selection of Swiss cheeses that varies from day to day. In addition, the breakfast hours are extensive. The staff has been very friendly: I had two problems and they were solved quickly and courteously.

When I arrived, the heating was off and, although these days have not been too cold, it took me two days for the room to have an optimal temperature.
