Grand Hotel LES TROIS ROIS

Lovely property with ornate design everywhere. Very gracious staff at every location waiting to direct or help. Wonderful river lounge for getting a drink and relaxing. The breakfast was one of the very best I have had the pleasure of. The room was very comfortable and quiet although we were on the city side by the trams.

The one morning we had breakfast we sat next to the window viewing the river. There was a large amount of small flies that probably came from the river on the window and some were on the table.

The Staff are amazing and will do everything humanly possible t make everyone’s stay amazing. The food and drink is absolutely amazing.

The property is fantastic but it was undergoing work so was a bit challenging for my husband who is in a wheelchair getting n and out. At one point the lift from the sort of service entrance that we had to use closed badly on his knee.

Breakfast was nice but just the usual. Probably not worth €45 a person. Location was perfect right in the heart of the old town, on the river. Make sure to request a room with a view of the river. The hotel is exceptional in every way but expensive. The staff will go out of their way to meet your every request. Enjoy the cigar bar. The bedsheets and duvet cover was extremely soft and comfortable. The mini bar was accessible, free of charge.

The front façade is currently under renovation and covered by scaffolding. You cannot appreciate the grandeur of the hotel until you enter. Other than that it exceeded my expectation in every way.

- no coffee Machine in the room - no free water in the room - forgot to send the newspaper to our room - price point compared to other hotels is overpriced

Friendly employees , especially young gentlemen in the lobby lounge and room devision manager at the reception.

1.No music was playing in the lobby,so I could hear conversations of the neighbourhood tables. 2. Housekeeping employee intended to clean my room however I was still sleeping. Not sure if red deco knot was meant to serve as "do not disturb"sign which I did not put on my door.

Everything. Location is perfect. Room overlooking the Rhine was fabulous (and entertaining as the gondola races were happening). This hotel has every convenience technology could provide, but it is old Europe elegance and service.

It will be very difficult to stay at any other hotel after staying here.

A historic hotel with great food and service

There was a bit of a misunderstanding with my taxi on the day of departure. I had asked for a departure at 10 am on the Saturday (booked with reception) but the taxi arrived early and complained that he had been waiting for 50 minutes. I was charged 120 swiss francs for a 15 minute journey to the airport when a taxi from the train station the previous day only cost 20 euros.

The overall quality of everything - food, bedding and towels, bathroom products, furnishings, temperature and most importantly the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, particularly reception, concierge and breakfast staff.

Hotel would perhaps benefit from a relaxing lounge space that could be used at any time of day for quiet sitting, reading etc, without the expectation of ordering bar drinks or food. The new(ish) electronic key system for guest rooms was a little awkward to use.

service was impeccable. hotel was centrally located with beautiful river views and festive for the season!

reservations needed to get a drink in the bar lobby- hard to plan a spontaneous drink!

That was really amazing stay in a truly magnicient, exceptional hotel. This is definitely in my TOP 5 list of 5 star hotels and I wish to be back as soon as possible. From the first minute there I felt welcome. At the breakfast you get the Micheline-type attention and service.
