Parkhotel Delta, Wellbeing Resort

Rooms were comfortable and of good size. The offered sport and leasure activities are top. Breakfast buffet was good and extensive. The view out of the restaurant into the park and on the outdoorpool is wonderful.

Bathrooms have reached the age where small renovations would be appropriate, according to the price charged per night. It is a bit unfortunate that you have to go through either the indoor pool area or the restaurant to get to the park-side without having to walk all the way around the hotel. Whirlpool seemed to be a makeshift whirlpool. Only a few water jets and the overflow was not cleverly designed. Whenever you moved a bit, the water was just going over the edge and flew into the relaxing-room.

The rooms are not very soundproof - we could hear the traffic from the nearby bridge and the ambulances. Also when we flushed the pipes very very loud in the room. the location is quite remote between Locarno and Ascona (you need about 20-25 min to get in the city). The guy at the reception told us we need an additional PCR test to use the wellness area which was not communicated in advance but only at the reception. in advance it was only communicated that we need 2G which we had.

The location is great, the facilities are simply great. From the rooms, to the restaurant, to the bart and the wellness area. It was my third time there and will not be the last for sure.

One of our rooms had a great view, the other was a fine view. The hotel is in a park, so that anywhere you look is certainly a lovely view. In view of Covid restrictions, everything was well organized and planned. The staff was very helpful, very friendly. They made the hotel exceptional, especially the staff at the front desk. The spa was well outfitted, and the gym area well outfitted. The pool was lovely. Both inside and outside. Honestly, it was just what we needed, and I will certainly plan to go again.

The hotel is very beautiful in all the areas, including the rooms. We got a room upgrade and the view from it was stunning. The spa areas are all nice and clean, really liked it. The food is good, breakfast, snack and dinner, highly recommend all of them. Free parking lots are available at the property.

There is nothing to complain about, everything was just perfect.

We stayed in Ascona few days just before the Christmas. Hotel was perfect - clean, all facilities provided, spa area modern and clean, staff very friendly and attentive. Covid measures were respected and followed. We had the Christmas Eve dinner at the property - delicious food and live music. We would like to come back to Ascona in summer and will definitely stay here.

Large room, large bathroom, balcony with comfortable chairs and a fantastic view of the greenery. Great service and extremely fine cuisine - risotto, tagliatelle al mare, beef fillet with mustard sauce and grilled lamb chops will be remembered fondly.

We had a great desire for fried eggs with bacon for breakfast. My partner and I ate three each. Breakfast usually costs CHF 38/person. With the eggs, we paid all in all CHF 186. A bit much for my taste.

I highly appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the high standard of service as well as the restaurant was very good as well.

Not really much to dislike. The hotel was fully booked therefore everything needed to be well timed and there was not much flexibility. That said, it's not really possible to change that in the current COVID pandemic situation.

Definitely adore this place!

Since it was not the first stay in this hotel, I just think that some rooms are excellent value for money, but others not entirely.
