Comfort Hotel Jönköping

We were on the way back from Denmark to Uppland and had to stay overnight at the Comfort Hotel Jönköping to get a bit of rest. The breakfast was good, with broad sortiment of food. The breakfast area is large, can accommodate many visitors at one time. Stayed overnight at the end of July 2022.

When we came late evening to the hotel, we had option to park our car at free outdoor parking near the hotel. But at this time there were many young people around looking aggressive (maybe drunk?). We felt us unsecure and were afraid for our car so we skipped free parking option and asked for underground parking place provided by the hotel. The parking was quite expensive: it cost us ~190 kr for that single night(!). The room also cost a bit more expensive than average price in Sweden.

Room: Basic and comfortable Breakfast: Good spread of food. The pancakes were somewhat soggy. Access to gym close by - great selection of gym equipment! Supermarket close by also which has a good selection of food Friendly front desk and breakfast staff.

Location: It takes about 10-15 mins to walk (with luggages), and there is a gradual uphill to get there. Room size was quite small - the double room became quite tight after opening 2 suitcases in there. No kettles available - they did provide hot water on request but it was a cup at a time.

Good range of food. I personally liked the fruit, yoghurt and extras. The different breads were very tasty and my partner enjoyed the bacon. There were several good restaurants in the area and we used the bus to travel into the centre and out to places of interest. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

Nothing wrong with the breakfasts or the hotel in general

clean newly renovated property with plenty of common spaces and friendly 24 hour staff. the beds were very comfortable, and the room was small but comfortable as long as you use the closet space. The bathroom was clean and the shower got very hot with nice water pressure.

Super friendly staff who spoke perfect English. Pancakes for breakfast and powerful water in shower.

Beds were a little thin and slid across the room. There was no way to control the heating, no information in room. Does were very heavy but walls were quite thin. The font on the door numbers made it feel military. Shower was generally on the small side.

A comfortable hotel with nice staff and very good breakfast buffet! While Jönköping isn't a huge city, this hotel is very close to both the station (10-minute walk) and the university (about 5 minutes by foot). The shopping district is also less than 10 minutes away. I'd really recommend this place.

While my room had everything, I felt it was a bit awkward to have the shower so close to the towel hanger. I ended up showering while paying extra attention to not soak the towels; I'd put a curtain somewhere in there.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and at a good location. Gym facilities are available. Also breakfast is included and is very good. Good common spaces.The room is ideal for couple with small kids.

The lighting in the room could get improved and also it is good to provide a fan for cooling in the room as it was very warm during summer. Cleaning could get improved.

Nice free breakfast friendly staff. Great location next to bus and train 🚉🚉 station, shops and restaurants.

Rooms are very basic and small maybe price should reflect that. Also coming from the U.S. I was expecting 2 separate beds but in Sweden it is 2 very small mattresses pushed together on the same bed frame.

Breakfast great, wi fi internet working good, professional staff, great location inside town, air is perfect, water tasty, also close to Jonkoping University, railway station, nice public transportation.

Nothing to criticize

Not too far from the centre. Nice clean room. Lobby was nice. Breakfast was good although very crowded.

The separated beds not attached to each other. No hair dryer. No closet or other form of storage.
