The staff is very friendly, we are with our 7 months baby and they help us heating water and the baby food. the hotel is very clean and you can walk to city canter. very close to stores and restaurants, with a shopping just in front.

My only complain is about the room temperature, because you can’t control. the days we stayed, the temperature outside was above 20 degrees and inside the room the heat was 27 degrees… very hot and uncomfortable. we talked with the reception but the hotel was unable to change…. So we stayed with heat turned off and the windows open to some fresh air….

If you take the train it’s perfect across the street, taxi ride from Vigo airport 25EUR. The rooms were very good, only a little smaller than expected. You have to scoot over if you are standing by the foot of the bed to pass by your side of the room. Very updated new bathroom. Staff were nice 👍 breakfast was also good specially the bacon.

Small rooms if you have a partner/spouse standing by the foot of the bed he/she has to scoot over. Provide facial towels tho I notice European hotels does not provide it based on our other stays somewhere else.

The Occidental is our "go-to" stay in Vigo. The staff is professional and friendly, the location is ideal and the breakfast is varied and wholesome. I have only one quibble, but it's important to us.

I specifically asked to NOT have a room next to a family with small children. Guess what I got instead for three nights in a row? The staff was helpful when I asked for their assistance in getting them to quiet down, but it was a disappointment that we had to deal with it at all. Will probably have to consider options if this request can't be granted.

Comfortable beautiful and clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The breakfast was great the parking was ok cause we read some reviews complaining about it but those people definitely never parked they’re car in Rio 😂

The shower drips outside cause the silicone of the glass is not very good so the floor gets a little wet but nothing serious.

The location is great, right on the water and walking distance to the center. Super easy to get around. The rooms were great, very clean and a HUGE, comfortable bed. Very easy to grab a taxi as well. Pus, they were able to check us in at 12:30pm which was great!

No problems, as we were only there one night. The only thing for us was that the hair dryer seemed a bit old and the door to the shower is tricky.

We always stay at the Occidental when in Vigo. Couldn't ask for a better, centralized location. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a nice spread and rooms are quite and clean.

Really disappointed that they haven't changed the showers yet. Everyone I've mentioned them to has the same complaint. The "doorless" showers splash everywhere. They might look 'edgy' but what a mess.

The bedroom had a nice layout and the beds were very spacious. The bathroom also had a really good size. The staff was really friendly as well.

The pillows were unfortunately a bit too soft for our tastes. The shower was also a bit unpractical, in the sense that it's very easy to get the entire bathroom was completely soaked. We also found the parking spots a bit claustrophobic.

It a very good option when to stay in Vigo. The hotel is confortable, modern and very clean. The location is excellent, with a shopping in front, for any urgent need. Walking distance from the downtown. The staff is great. The breakfast is good, but a little pricy for the variety and offer.

Besides the price of the brakfast, the mais issue is in terms of access. The parking spots have limited space and have a somewhat difficult access for the car, specially for big cars, but it is manejable. the number and size of lifts complicates access to and from the underground parking and to and from the rooms, as they are really small

It’s very well located, easy to park and within walking distance to the city centre. The room was very clean and spacious, very comfortable. The staff was professional and friendly.

Nothing, just a small thing to note would be the noise, the walls are a bit thin and we could hear people in other rooms and works in the building next to the hotel.

First time to hotel and for one night only. Check in professional, smooth, received all information needed. Own parking (complete when arrived, but suggested another one two minutes away from hotel). Room comfortable, huge and comfy bed, spacious and clean bathroom. ALL looked in mint condition. Was perfect.

Only one small comment to make - the fridge with glass doors in front of the bed creates a lot of light in the night. This may be not the best solution.
