Great hotel in somewhat historical building. There are 2 restaurants right in the hotel. Each room has a name rather than a number, and there aren't many rooms. Vintage decorations create nice atmosphere. Location is great - we were able to walk to the Cathedral in less than 10 min. The dinner in the restaurant was great, so was the breakfast.

It would be great to have a relaxing space at the rooftop terrace on the 3rd floor, instead it is just an empty space - what a lost opportunity. Also, the waiter in the restaurant recommended Alabardero River Club as another restaurant to try paella, we went there and it was quite average.

My stay in the Hotel Alabardero was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in my life, we were very well-received by the employees, especially Alvaro! Everyone who worked there was super nice and my room was ready very quickly. Everything was clean, and they allowed us to leave our bags there before and after our check in. The room was perfect, very spacious, comfortable, had AC which was left on so we would arrive with the room in the perfect temperature as the city was burning up outside due to the summer temperatures. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Seville, you can get to anywhere in the city from the hotel fairly easily.

We arrived around 12:30 in the afternoon, but the room was already cleaned, so they let us checked in before the check in time. Unfortunately, I found my wallet was stolen at the Alkazar Palace,in the morning, the lady at the reception helped me to find the police station where there is someone can speak English and even let let me use their phone to call Japan for blocking my credit card. The day we were leaving, our flight was early. We requested to have our breakfast at 6:30,they usually open at 8:00, they were very kind to open earlier! Their hospitality is amazing! I would definitely choose Alabardero next time again!!!

Nothing!

We were bowled over by the first impression as the lobby includes a beautiful bar with a mezzanine two story balcony above it. The hotel only has six rooms all named after small Andalucian cities. It is an incredibly traditional building, beautifully appointed, with just gorgeous decor. Alvaro who welcomed us was friendly, informative and relaxed - all the staff seemed happy to be there and were so helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed wandering round the reception rooms and was very tempted to have dinner at the hotel (wish we had!!) Breakfast wasn't included but I went down and ordered coffee and orange juice (shame it wasn't freshly squeezed) and it was lovely to chill in our beautiful room, Jaen. Location great.

Someone people may prefer somewhere more modern. We loved the old style key/wardrobes/furniture.

This hotel was converted from a palace in the 1990s. It has a lovely reception area with a central fountain, a bar and restaurant. The desk staff is friendly and anxious to help. The cathedral and the Alcazar are 10 to 15 minutes on foot. The first floor is closed for renovation and the main door for the parking garage is being replaced. We parked in Garage Magdalena, just a short walk away. Our room on the second floor was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is quite serious about its food. We had a breakfast and lunch there and I regret not trying the tasting menu for dinner. Ingredients were top quality, the breakfast perhaps the best of this trip.

The location and the breakfast was really great. It's in the old city centre and you can go everywhere by walk. Atmosphere in the hotel was really good as you can feel like you're in old Sevilla. Bed was comfy and the room was clean.

First night we had a problem with jacuzzi and we couldn't switch it off off and also there were some smell from electricity board when I informed one of the staffs in charge he just ignored us and he just just asked us to wait another colleague to come. We waited for another person to come for half an hour. We asked for another room, however they refused as their all room were full as they mentioned. But when they noticed they couldn't fix the issue, they changed our room for just one night (apparently there was a free room). In the next morning when we returned our room, the issue had been sorted out. So it took about a night for them to solve the problem.

The hotel is a traditional Seville building with only a small number of rooms and 2 excellent restaurants open to the (discerning) public. We were served an excellent continental breakfast. The staff were polite and efficient. The hotel is very well located for the cathedral and other tourist attractions, flamenco venues, restaurants, river bars.

We were there for only a 1 night and found nothing to dislike - an all round excellent establishment for staying in Seville.

The staff were very attentive once they realised that I was a resident. The environment was lovely with quite a buzz in the reception area. My glass of Sherry was always a pleasure. The room was exactly as I expected although there were were few technical issues with it

I had a slight accident and fell over in the the bathroom. The staff were apologetic and asked if I was OK but I had hoped that perhaps they might offer a free drink or something similar. I didn't find the minibar until penultimate evening. Perhaps a good thing? I would suggest that the breakfast, whilst acceptable, does not give value for money. Better alternatives are available in town.

We stayed here over the Easter Celebrations and were absolutely blown away. The room was gorgeous (the biggest bed we've stayed in), all the people who worked there were so helpful and friendly, the hotel was beautiful and we were served a lovely breakfast every morning. To top it off, a number of Easter processions passed right under our balcony, making it a holiday we'll never forget. Thank you.

Location was amazing, walking distance to all the good spots. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel lobby is comfortable and beautiful. Staff is very friendly. Good breakfast, selection of meats, cheese, pastries, jam and fruit with drinks.

Only things was that the beds kept pushing apart during the night. A double bed would've been more comfortable. The elevator is dated and and shaking so we took the stairs.
