Hotel el Mirador de Fuerteventura

The Staff were fantastic. The reception team, the restaurant staff and the cleaners were always very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was superb. It's about a 25 minute walk (a very nice one) either across the beach or the newly built coastal path to the large town of Puerto del Rosario. This meant the hotel had outstanding views of the beach, the sea and the port - from a peaceful distance. It is also one of the closest hotels to Fuerteventura airport (under 5 mins, 7 euro taxi) so would highly recommend if you just want to reduce travel times. Puerto del Rosario is a nice town to visit - very Spanish and authentic but can become quite touristy given that cruise ships often dock here. Hotel room was a good size - very clean on arrival and was cleaned daily. The on-site restaurant had really good food - mostly authentic spanish dishes at reasonable prices. Breakfast was great too. Personally I would recommend getting the bed and breakfast option and then choosing on whether you wish to eat dinner in the restaurant after reviewing the full menu.

Struggling to find a bad word to say. Really enjoyed my stay. Maybe would have appreciated a bit more information on local things to do etc. especially if I was staying for a little longer.

The location is great next to the beach airport. Great reception staff. Great food, perfect service, and very nice food in the restaurant. Extremely cure room Beautiful island. Complimentary Water and 7UP - nice touch. VIVA CANARIAS!!!

Maid service doing LOTS OF NOISE when cleaning neighbouring rooms, starting as of 08am in the morning 🙈🙉, screaming in the corridors, and using very loud walkie-talkies..

Hotel is fine for trip around Fuerteventura, because is nearby airport and capital city. It has own parking place for your rent car. Hotel is very nice and clean. I recommend room with sea view.

Breakfast during COVID is not fine. You have to choose breakfast package before night. Buffet is forbidden and you have to ask for serve juice and cofe from waitter. Standard breakfast package is very small and I recommend to order extra eggs or two breakfast package before night.

Super location .Overlooking sea. Local Bus ( Number3) 5 mins from airport stops outside door. Spacious rooms with large balcony and all amenities. Very comfy bed with great pillows . Tea/ Coffee . lovely staff , particularly reception , breakfast and cleaning staff . Good breakfast . Easy 20 minute coastal walk into Puerto Rosario .

Dinner was dreadful. Never had half board before and never will again . However was reimbursed when cancelled third night in restaurant. this hotel was excellent otherwise in every way

Stunning sea view from our room. Watching the sunrise from bed every morning. Hotel was exceptionally clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Shower was nice and soothing and location was great with a 20 to 30 minute walk to the centre but this was along the beach.

The double bed was two singles pushed together but advertised as a double. Breakfast was at best served lukewarm but was stone cold on the last day.

We ended up staying here after my husband became ill at the end of our holiday at another resort, and we had to extend our stay by three nights while he recovered. During a stressful time the Mirador was an absolute oasis. The staff were so helpful - they called us taxis, they called a doctor to come out to our room, they helped me extend our stay when I needed to. The room itself was really comfortable and we loved the little terrace area. On the last day we managed a quick trip to the beach, which was beautiful and an easy three or four minute stroll from the hotel. We were then a short ~10 minute drive to the airport when he was finally well enough to fly home! Thank you Hotel Mirador for being there in our hour of need!

Ideal hotel for a short stay (in my opinion). Location is perfect especially for the people who are arriving to Fuerteventura late or leaving early. The hotel is very close to the airport and it is on the beach. Bus #3 from the airport stops right in front of the hotel. Very friendly people on the reception. Rooms are very spacy. Bed is very comfortable. View from the room on the ocean. There is thee and coffee in the room, water and soft drinks.

Room floor was not very clean, after I walked with my white socks it straight became dirty. I found some long black hair on the bathroom floor and shower (I'm blond). Food in the restaurant is more than basic and quality is a bit poor. Risotto and salad with goat cheese was the best from the menu.

Staff nice & very welcomed, especially receptionist Sara so good , ready for help when you needed. Location fab not even 10 minutes from airport { price for taxi between 5 - 7 euro }, nice view from room on beach and water, small shop about 10 minutes away from hotel , about 30 minutes to local shopping center have 3 floors nice one , around nice marina and beach , lots of green trees, but if you walk during promenade its nice scenery too, access for wheelchairs . I recommend

The pavement along promenade near hotel its not really finished, but luckily enough to walk on hard surfaces so that good , after few minutes of walk surfaces change for better when is completely finished.

Room was really nice. They have mattress covers (as people say in earlier reviews), but it wasn't too uncomfortable. Got a half garden, half ocean view (paid for garden view), I was very happy with that. Great location if you need to go early to the airport, as the airport is just a few mins away. The breakfast was half served, you need to choose the breakfast style a day ahead. The other half (drinks, sweet pastry, cereal,... was available for self-serve. Not a bad option, just a bit confusing.

Very clean, helpfull staff that speaks good english. Excellent sunrise view from the room. Nice beach with showers just around the corner.

25 minutes walk to Puerto del Rosario (for me it was not a problem but can be for someone) Pool was closed during my stay in December. You here people walking above you.
