AC Hotel Iberia Las Palmas by Marriott

The location is very good, only 5 mins in a taxi from the old town and 10 mins to the main beach area of the city. We had a balcony which looked out onto the sea and we saw all the cargo ships coming in and at weekends, all the water activities so it was very interesting. The bed was very comfortable, well laid out room, bathroom had an excellent shower and bath. Towels were replaced daily, soft and lots of them and the cleaners did a fantastic job. One gripe is there was only 1 hook in the bathroom to hang anything but this is a small thing in the otherwise excellent serve we received. We did not eat at the hotel so cant comment, we did visit the top floor pool, which gave spectacular views and looked good all-round, but we did not swim. The staff we engaged with were all efficient, helpful and happy. Our room had an ironing board and iron, a safe and the hairdryer in the bathroom was good.

not enough hooks for hanging towels/items in the bathroom. Poor lighting in the corridors which I guess is an eco thing but for older people with sight impairment it was disconcerting.

The hotel was all that I needed for an unplanned stay in Las Palmas, the staff on the reception desk could not have been more helpful when I needed to extend my stay in what had been a stressful time their patience and understanding was greatly appreciated, my bedroom and facilities were very comfortable, with tea and coffee top up daily and also bottled water, breakfasts always plentiful with the staff there willing to help and serve you. the hotel was also just a short taxi ride to the hospital and the location to shops was just a short walk away, we certainly will look to returning to Las Palmas for a short break/holiday and will be returning to stay again at the AC Hotel Iberia Las Palmas,

The door from the hall to the restaurant where the breakfast is served is somehow invisible because it is in the corner without any sign, so my daughter could not find where she can eat while I was at the conference. Bu anyway, she is 11, she survived goingto the supermarket. Nocomplainttothe stuff - it is just a location of the door.

Staff we're excellent, especially the house keeper who looks after room 912, she went out of her way to make sure we were all very comfortable which was much appreciated. Great view across the port and although there is a main road infront of the hotel we heard no noise at all when the window was shut. Hotel location is really good with a nice shopping area 5 minutes walk away. Secure parking was available at €10 per day and there's also public parking which is free from Saturday mid day (I think) and Sunday. Breakfast was nice, covid/sanitary measures were in place, again great/helpfull staff on hand.

The location was quite good, the room well sized with a nice bathroom, daily cleaning, daily complementary coffee, lots of complementary toiletries. Our room had a nice sea view.

The breakfast could have been included for that price or at least be affordable. There was no latch to open the main room’s lamps as we were entering, no ceiling lamp in the main room rather than side bed lamps. The swimming pool was not heated.

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions due to its location but it gradually became more expensive especially the breakfast 32 euros for buffet. But this time we had a good deal which included breakfast.

Had to move room due to Staples protruding through bed headboard. No cups or glasses in the room.

I love everything at this hotel and the very polite and helpful staff. Always happy to answer your questions with very good attitude. Very clean rooms and pool nice location and good buffet dishes. The hotel offered car park for €8 but the reception gave that for free of charge 👌.

Only when you take a shower lots water going out because the shower room design is not right. Apart of that every thing was fantastic

Everything was perfect with the facilities

It is in a very noisy position with heavy traffic from the main road and a primary school playground next door…but this is no reflection on the hotel itself

Location. Though it seems a long way out of the tourist area, it is very close to the Old Town with great bars & restaurants, & on an easy bus route to the New Town. The room was great. Wifi was excellent. Price was good, probably due to location.

Breakfast was way overpriced with minimal choice - no hot food. Disappointing.

Best hotel bed I have ever slept! Had really nice in hotel restaurants, and had great desserts. The hotel staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about nearby attractions.

The bathroom could have been better, was not able to wind it out and the towels kept getting wet and therefore needed more changing. Breakfast missed more vegetables.
