Beautiful hotel with beautiful furniture and ornaments cleverly placed around the hotel. The grounds were lovely and well kept. The staff were fabulous and very friendly . The rooms were very good and the beds were comfortable, they were kept clean by house keeping. An amazing location , very tranquil and beautiful views . So quiet it was perfect , slept really well.

The breakfast buffet wasn’t very good . Nothing seemed very fresh and there was always a big queue at the omelette station . The only thing I liked was was the fresh coffee . Also , 11am is too late to open the pool area and provide the cushions for the sun-beds. I also thought the pool area needed to be cleaned more as everything was a bit sticky ! Finally , balcony light had been disconnected and there was a bug spot light outside our balcony which was blinding , also a palm tree which blocked our view and sun which was a shame.

I could change a room so no problem and complain but when we got a room as a sea view wasn’t same as on the booking. com and hotel site. it was faced on the golf course and giant net (for safety). you can see sea a little (and hotel explained this is the sea view room)but it was really a big difference from the photo on the site. I would recommend they should change a proper photo. anyhow the hotel looked after us very nicely and no complaints so just suggestions for fairness for the consumers.

Absolutely beautiful, pools, botanical garden, views out to the Atlantic, lots of quiet spaces to rest and relax. Our room was gorgeous with a sea view. We ate beside the pool for breakfast and evening meal.

The property was gorgeous. It was well maintained and every area seemed to be well thought-out. Our junior suite was well-appointed and beautifully decorated. The steamer in the closet was an excellent alternative to an iron. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would have liked a more thorough description of the amenities at the property, especially as a first-time guest. The property is in a tucked away corner of the island, and it was nice to be away from the crowds. We could easily walk to the stone beach and the local town. I highly recommend guests rent a car for the duration of their stay, as this allows for exploring the island, especially if you’re not a golfer.

As many have lamented before, the food at the buffet wasn’t great. It did not feel indicative of a five star property. It was certainly good enough, but it could have been better. Unfortunately, the outdoor hot tub was broken during our stay. It would have made an unusually cold week much better. As an alternative, the property should have offered complimentary spa pool use. However, you still had to pay for spa time.

Lovely location with beautiful views from the hotel. Great staff. Really good breakfasts and evening buffet food. Liked the complimentary snack and drinks throughout the day in the lounge. Lovely swimming pool and stunning golf course.

Our initial room was at the lowest level of the property, looked onto a fence and was quite dark. We paid for an upgrade to a really nice room on one of the upper levels. Cold buffet food and desserts were amazing but hot food not so good.

We were given a warm welcome by Laura and our bags were taken down to our Junior Suite Ocean View by Paolo. All the staff were warm and helpful; one person moved a heavy parasol stand, with a porters trolley, so that we could have a parasol over the chairs we had chosen. Laura and Paolo dealt very well with a wide range of minor questions that we asked throughout our stay. We really appreciated the friendliness of the staff. The room was marvellous with a great dressing room with plenty of hanging space and convenient shelves and drawers. The bathroom had two sinks making it possible for us both to wash our hands or clean our teeth at the same time. Everything worked well and the rooms were serviced each day beautifully. The food was excellent and included vast ranges of salad at both breakfast and dinner times. The Yoga sessions were good and we loved the botanical garden.

Melia hacienda del conde was a recreation of living the telenovelas dream. The room space was amazing- with the walk in wardrobe which made my holiday the bathroom: walk in shower , rituals products(very appreciated) bath and the bide' in the toilettes- which was a detail i very much apricated. Tha balcony view and space for a chilling moment. And the overall atmosphere with the swimming pools, palms, cactuses ( my new crush :))) ) and all the terraces , bars restaurants , SPA, gym, Golf club and one of the most amazing golf fields in front of the ocean with los gigantes( mountains) on the back, made the experience very unique. The staff: lovely , smiling professional :make you stay like you are at home. Special thanks to Jose for bringing my cafe con leche every morning, with no need to ask ..and to Bea - for making the SALAZAR restaurant experience amazing . The peace would be the better definition of this holiday .. Melia's atmosphere would inject this to you...

This is not a critique related to the hotel- its just a suggestion for the beach: woudl be lovely to have an ocean exit type of beach, directly connected with the hotel( where the golf field ends) to have the option of swimming in the ocean, a part from the swimming pools of course, which were amazing.

The location, facilities, colonial style, nature around the hotel.

The offer of food in the hotel facilities is not exciting. The buffet is good quality for a buffet but lacks "touch". There is a small a la carte restaurant in the hotel we did not try. It is required to travel 15-20 minutes to get restaurants in the region that are average (at least the ones we tried). Spa access should be included in the quite high price.

The comfort of the room, our Junior Suite had even a dressing, the personal kindliness of the entire staff, the top quality of the buffet, the interior decoration of the dining room and the exterior of the hotel was astonishing, the quality of the breakfast, high sleeping comfort, location of the hotel nearby the road to Punta de Teno, extremely nice nature in the environment of the hotel, which offers a superb hiking tour.

There was only 1 negative point which has left us with a bad feeling. We became aware that one receptionist, L**r* didn't like her job. She didn't give us a hearty welcome, on the contrary. She was not helpful and not that friendly, in contradiction to all other members of the staff we 've met. The other members did a superb job, they were super friendly. Well done!

Definitely one of the best accomodations that I have ever seen. So happy that we have chosen this area of the island since the views here are spectacular. The hotel is huge having amazing views over the ocean, the palms and the golf area. Top quality services provided by the staff, while the facilities are everything that you need. Rooms are big and clean, you have 3 -4 pools with many sunbeds where you can enjoy your time (you definitely need to book the ocean club atlantic pool which is outstanding). It was a pleasure to spend my birthday in this place and I need to thank again the staff for the gift sent in the room. Will definitely book again on the next trip.
